Unbelievable experience all around, they’ve perfected every level of the coffee process, from the beans to the latte art. The owner and the baristas are all exceptionally kind and talented. Best coffee shop in the city!

A pretty quiet cafe with fairly good service. The walls have a cool illustration on the coffee bean process. The mocha was a bit too milky and underwhelming. The guava cheese pastry was lukewarm, the cheese had a rubbery texture, and the guava paste was a bit too sweet and overwhelming. Staff was very nice and welcoming though.

Super impressive coffee shop with excellent quality coffee drinks and pastries. The ships aesthetic is so vibrant and earthy. They roast in house so you can probably watch the process if you come at the right time. There is also a free parking lot which is super convenient in the busy Wicker Park area.

Best spot for a latte on division! Always the perfect balance of bitter chocolaty espresso and creamy oat milk. I find myself here more and more every week. Hospitality from the baristas is unmatched too. Thank you!!

My daughter’s friend recommended this place to us, we c have for our second time and and are still impressed with the food and service. My favorite was the cappuccino, it was served with a seahorse drawn with the foam and it brought a smile to my face. The avocado toasts are delicious!

A small and cozy cafe.
The cafe is tidy and hygienic, but the toilet was not well cleaned and changed my opinion about the cafe.
We ate tiramisu and its hot chocolate. Tiramisu was great and the hot chocolate was good.

Cute new spot that opened up in the Tri-Taylor neighborhood this past month.
. Arepa Flight -- Ordered with chicken, shredded beef, and two types of cheeses. The meat is juicy and delicious and an indication of the other menu items.
. Pastelitos -- Fried empanadas. Ordered the ground beef and yellow rice and sweet guava and cheese. Would love to have more filling but they were tasty.
. Nutty Latte -- So delicious! Smooth, creamy, nutty, and slightly sweet. They totally nailed it.

Beautiful, hospitable, and so so tasty for really good prices. We came across Typica randomly looking for coffee on a Saturday and now it’s our new favorite spot. Loved sitting inside, so cozy and inviting. This is the apple turnover and the other is guava & cheese. Paired with a nutty latte that was so tasty and the most beautiful latte art we’ve ever seen!

I'm a coffee addict and happened to walk by during their grand opening. I've since been back at least 5-10 times. The coffee is delicious, definitely one of the best on Division, and they have tons of options for appetizers, breakfast, baked goods, you name it. The Avocado toast is my personal favorite.
Everyone here is so personable and attentive, and TYPICA staff makes sure you feel welcome at all times. Prices are so reasonable also. Please visit!

Whoever created this is a gem and their drinks and really good, tasty, and cheap. Quality is so good and for the price, you get really good quality coffee. There’s also free parking which is really cool! I didn’t really enjoy fully their bakery items, but the drinks are so yummy! I highly recommend visiting this place if you’re looking for good coffee for a cheap price!

I went by this morning to go check this new place out after seeing the previous glowing reviews and oh my gosh were they all right!
Service: this was by far the best service I have ever received from a coffee shop! Upon walking in, the employee (I wish I got his name) immediately gave us such a warm welcome. Throughout it, he was giving me and my boyfriend different recommendations and went above and beyond in all accounts!
Coffee: not only did I receive some of the best service ever, but I also got some of the best coffee ever! My boyfriend and I got the nutty latte and a vanilla latte and they were both out of this world (my personal fav is the nutty latte - you have to try it). Not only that, but we got some colds brew to go and it was also great!
Food: the small shop has so many different kinds os pastries and breakfast options it was really hard to choose! We ended up getting the ham and cheese and beef and cheese puff pastries and oh my gosh they were great! The beef tasted similar to a cheesesteak while the ham and cheese just tasted your traditional way! The pastry wasn’t heavy at all and complimented the inside well. We also were able to try out the cheese and guava pastry and if you should try anything, it’s this. It’s something I’ve honestly have never had before and I’m so glad I did!
Overall, I love this place. It was so so affordable and so good! I can’t wait till they get their membership program up and running because I know I’m going to be there far too much! If you are in the area, I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out!

Venezuelan new café shop in the neighborhood. They are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about Typica coffee. My Latte was served artistically plus they use quality milk.
In-house they roast and sell coffee beans, teas, pastries and small bites. Indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely worth the trip…stop on in.
