Great homemade noodles. They were out of dumplings. The beef burger was good but a little dry. Would definitely recommend the noodles
Regardless od lack of direction and knowledge the food was crazy good. The textures and temps where all unexpected but delicious!!! I honestly didn't have a clue as to what to order nor what everything was... the girl who served on us provided minimal assistance in informing us what to order... I would still go back to try the rest of the other things I have no clue what they are

We come to China Town once in a while for a certain cravings, but our first experience with this place is actually with its location at Naperville. Comparatively speaking the China Town location is much smaller in size and menu offerings. But the food quality is about the same.
I am not sure what all these 5 star reviews are all about, the food here is 4 stars at the best. The 5 stars are for the hand made noodles and maybe the pot stickers. Everything else is just middle of the road for me. The flat bread is ok, it is more less like a stuffed gordita. I actually prefer the Cubano over this flat bread for the texture. The ZhaJiang noodle taste is a little on the light side but perfect hand made noodles. The BiangBiang noodle taste is right on but there are not enough ingredients to match its $13 price tag (in China Town). We didn't try the skewers but I think the other specialized skewer restaurants in China Town probably have more to offer.
One thing I can say, the service is super fast and all of food came up within 10 mins back to back.

It may look like a humble, hole-in-the-wall spot on the outside, but the food is absolutely incredible. I haven't had the chance to enjoy the wonders of traditional Xi'an cuisine in such a long time, but Xi'an Cuisine really brought back so many childhood memories. I tried their vegetable and refreshing liangpi / cold noodles, and they were both delicious and, as the name implies, perfectly refreshing and the best possible meal for a hot summer day. The texture of the normal liangpi was slightly better (the vegetable ones were a bit mushier than a traditional liangpi), but both were incredible. They mixed the sauces wonderfully, with a great balance of the richness of the sesame, acidity from the black vinegar, and slight kick of the chili oil. My parents also tried out their lamb skewers and lamb intestine paomo (羊杂泡馍), and absolutely loved them!! My dad even said that their lamb skewers were some of the best he's had in the United States. And, to make things even better, everything is incredibly affordable with phenomenal portion sizes. You'll definitely leave Xi'an Cuisine feeling full and satisfied!! I can't wait to come back to Chicago Chinatown just to visit this spot again.

Yummy! There are certain dishes that this restaurant does very well, and I suggest you stick with ordering those.
1. Cumin lamb flatbread (ask for added cilantro +/- jalapeños)
2. #53 on the menu, the hand pulled noodle dish, + add lamb for a small extra cost.
The value is very good! We ordered 4 items to share between 2 people and the total cost was only $25 before tax.
One thing to note is that the service can be a tad slow due to there only being 1 lady who services the entire dining room, but given the number of customers she is juggling, it is actually remarkable how fast she moves.

Hand stretched stir fried wide noodles were awesome. The cold wheat gluten was good too ????.
Get the Zhajiangmian too. You really can't go wrong with any of the noodle stuff.

Everything we had at this place was incredible. We ordered the pot stickers, wonton soup, marinated seaweed, tofu skins, lamb skewers, sliced beef, and flatbread. We were the only table at around 2 on a Wednesday. Would absolutely visit again.
The photo is after we had been eating for 15 mins. Lots of food!

We ate at the restaurant on a Thursday evening. Only one other party was there but should have been packed. The menu was amazing with items not usually seen. Prices were more than fair and every thing we ordered was perfect. Don't miss the egg drop soup!!

This place needs more attention. Their flat bread sandwiches (rou jia mo) is delicious. Bread is perfect. If you’re familiar with mainland Chinese food you’ll find these items on the streets of Beijing in the morning rush as people are off to work. Taste just like I remembered 10 years ago. The hand pulled noodles are yummy as well. There most definitely is a difference in fresh noodles over dried packaged ones. The lamb skewers are more meatier than other Chinatown locations. Staff is your typical Chinese Place, so don’t be a Karen and just enjoy the food!
