Food is a 5 star and I would've given it a 5 star but the attention to the customer slacks a bit. It's not horrible by any means. I think just adding a louder chime to the back of the restaurant to signal the waitress of someone walking in or out should do the trick. Besides that food is great
They cooked my eggs with oil that was used for frying fish the meat was chewy and stretchy rice was clumped up and they gave me beans in a tiny cup with a lid the hot sauce container was bigger than the one beans was in. I highly recommend a different place

Clean place, polite service, however there is no sounds other than people eating, no music, no TV's...

Food tasted great!! I didn't get exactly what I ordered. The staff didn't speak a lot of English but used a translation app to overcome the language barrier!! I will definitely be back!!

Melissa was so quick to get our drinks and orders in. She was very kind and was cleaning tables doing everything. I was very impressed with the service she provided. It's very hard to find employees these days with great attitude and such passion to help their hungry customers. Our food was so good. These are the best Pupusas in Iowa. I had some cheese ones, chicharron ones (pork cracklings) and loroco (herbs and cheese). Our friends and I took 2 people that have never tried pupusas in their lives and they were in love. We took some for the office and they loved them.

Hidden Gem right here in DSM! If you have not tried a PUPUSA before then here is the place to go! For only $2.50 or less per. I can't say enough about this place! Great service, local and authentic.

If you want authentic El Salvadorian food, this is the spot. The atmosphere feels like home. The staff is great and the food is amazing. You truly won't be disappointed! I love their pupusas de queso con flor de calabaza. Perfect and to die for!

Pupusas are delicious, large and priced fair. (Most are $2 each) They serve large portions of cortido and two bottles of salsa.
The other entree we ordered was incredible. Meat was tender, delicious, sauce was incredible and the rice & beans were perfectly prepared.
