My experience last night trying to new catch restaurant was wonderful. I have to say I do think the OG Catch has gone down hill food wise so I went with low expectations when a friend decided to book it but I was blown away!! Our entire meal was absolutely delicious! Atmosphere in restaurant was awesome, lots of pretty lights and the place was packed. Two things that could have made our meal better: My steak sauce came 5 mins after the rest of the meal which was kinda disappointing and I’d gone through half the steak impatiently waiting. The cold air was blasting way too much in the back room, think they need to look into that because it’s a downer on the comfort of the meal.
All in all I would 100% recommend.
Pretty disappointing experience. Like others, we were made to wait about an hour for a table after showing up on time to our reservation. Bartender and waiter were friendly / amenable, but really ridiculous to wait that long for a reserved table.
Ambiance was great, but food left quite a lot to be desired. We ordered a salad, sushi, some wine, and I got the bone-in 12 oz dry age steak. Wine was great. Sushi was very generic. The steak was seasoned well but did not taste dry aged at all, and was certainly not 12 ounces. Overall, just absolutely not worth what we paid.

I love Catch LA and Catch in Vegas so I really wanted to love Catch Steak La but I didn’t. When we come the men at the door are super nice and helpful, Ryan the door man is the best! There’s tons of paps outside which is cool if you like that stuff. We showed up on time but they still made us wait 30 min. So we drank at the bar. I had the Lady of the Night which is a nice sweet drink and comes with a side of champagne. We got there at 845pm on a Saturday night and it seemed a bit empty in the bar area at first. The tables in this area were completely empty. The host comes to us to take us to our table and why is it one of the tables at the end of the bar that have been open the whole time while we were standing in our 6 inch stilettos at the bar? So we asked to move inside of the main room since they made us wait so long and they said it’s another 30 minute wait. So we said we will wait then. Another drink and another 30 minutes later the place is loud and packed and we get seated NOT in the main room but the adjacent Garden Room. We were all so annoyed, but it’s 945pm at this point and we needed to eat so just stayed put. And unfortunately this was the loudest place in the whole restaurant because of the low ceilings so it made it hard to talk and hear each other.
Our waiter Welder was nice. We ordered the Chilled Oysters, Caesar Salad, Sizzling Shrimp, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Delmonico Steak, Baked Potato, and the Mediterranean Branzino. I loved the Oysters, the salad, and the Brussel Sprouts-sooo good! I did not like the Sizzling Shrimp at all it was so salty. The steak was ok and the fish was good. I would definitely like to try different stuff in the future. The dessert people were getting around us looked amazing, so we will get that next time.
All in all this place has potential to be great if they can work on the hosts and the waiting time. Next time my girls and I come looking all dolled up, I expect to be seated in the main room and not wait an hour!

We had a reservation for dinner. We were turned away due to not wearing appropriate attire. Seconds later, a group then shows up in a Rolls Royce wearing pretty much the same casual attire. My sweater was Michael Khors. They valeted their vehicle. We chose to self-park on La Cienaga. The party who came after us were all let in without delay, along with smiles from the front door host. Seems like the restaurant prefers to pick and choose their customer base. Needless to say, we will not ever go back again. And can’t wait until the famous Caviar Kaspia restaurant of Paris, France eventually opens up directly across the street. It’s the one that serves Kathy Hilton their famous caviar baked potato. Can’t wait! Catch Steak, just close already. There are plenty of fine dining steakhouses in the area that GENUINELY appreciate customer patronage from ALL walks of life.

If I can give zero stars I would. If you are not a celebrity or someone important, forget about going there. You will wait forever for your table, for your food, for everything. And the food is absolutely horrible, not worth the price. Wish I hadn't gone and wasted 4 hours of my life, yes, it took 4 hours for a simple early dinner. Oh, and management is the worst. Don't know how they even got the jobs in the first place, seriously change the management staff and hire people that actually know what they are doing.

I don't normally take time to leave reviews but after my experience tonight I felt I really had to. The ambiance is really beautiful. We ordered the
"cowgirl" aged ribeye and it arrived perfectly cooked but cold. We explained this to the manager who offered us to cook our steak further to make it hot again knowing it would now be overcooked and told us that if we wanted another steak made right and delivered hot he'd have to charge us for an additional steak. This was not the response l'd normally get at a 5 star restaurant. I said I don't want to pay for another steak because you brought the last one cold and so I elected to get it reheated. In the end the manager did come back and agree to cook a new one for us at no additional charge. When it was time for dessert we had ordered the ice cream over a red velvet cone cup. We chose our three flavors. The waiter comes out with 2 different flavors out of the three and no red velvet cone cup. We asked him what happened to the flavors we had chosen? He said they had ran out and just brought the flavors they had left. I asked where's the red velvet cone cup? He responded stating he rang us us as a cup of ice cream and not what was on the menu and that it was "his bad". We were still charged for this dessert we had not ordered. I've been to many high end restaurants. This is one of the worst high end restaurants I've been to. Next time we are in the mood to go to a steakhouse we'll go to Gwen, Mastroes or Boa Sunset before coming back to Catch Steak. Frankly, the place is poorly run. Not a great experience.

I had dinner here tonight to celebrate a belated birthday and was a bit disappointed. First of all, I took a quick video of the interior of the restaurant and sat down. I think it was the manager but a man came to our table and told me that for future reference I'm not allowed to record in the restaurant. I said okay even though I've seen many tik tok videos and reels of this restaurant. Then he asks us if we're from here (was it because we're Asian?). I thought it was a pretty racist question and I'm not sure why he would even ask us that in the first place. Food was good but not amazing to the point I would come back and our server and the rest of the staff was nice so two stars for that. No complimentary birthday dessert which I would be fine with not getting but the table next to us got one. Would I go back? No. Would I recommend others to check out Catch Steak LA? Definitely not.

I’ve recently found out Catch Steak opened a location in LA, and I enjoyed my experience at the original catch LA, so thought I’d check this place out. The experience exceeded my expectations! We were seated right away, the waiters were so attentive and friendly, recommended us what to order based on our wants. We started with our drinks, I got the high mile, very sweet! Then we got the Twice as Nice roll, which not surprisingly, tasted amazing as always. I would recommend getting the sizzling shrimp, it literally comes out sizzling to your table. We got both the truffle butter filet and the imperial wagyu filet medium, and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! I was convinced to get medium rather than well done, and I’m glad I got medium. As for the desert, I’d recommend getting the baked Alaska, you’ll also get a show out of it! 5 out of 5 best experience and great tasting food, worth the money!

Had the chance to go to Catch Steak LA on the 2nd night they were opened. We grabbed some drinks at the bar before our table was ready. The bar area is so pretty and we had wonderful service. When our table was ready the hostess came and got us to take us to our table. We were promptly greeted by our server. They did a wonderful job with the décor of this new restaurant. He gave us several minutes to look over the menu and explained how the menu works. We decided to order the Crispy Potato Croquettes and Ricotta Tortellini and both dishes were great. My husband ordered the 8oz American Imperial Wagyu Filet and while he does not like wagyu he loved this steak. I ordered the 6oz Prime Rib Cap. I did have to send it back as it was over cooked and they did remake it and it was cooked perfectly. Our friend ordered the 8oz Truffle Butter Filet and she enjoyed hers as well. For the mistake of overcooking my steak they brought us two sides of mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus and both were excellent. They finished off our meal with 3 fresh cookies that were great too. Our service was excellent and how they handled my steak being over cooked was perfect. The only thing we didn't care for was all the steaks were over salted but didn't stop us from enjoying them. Next time we will probably mention light on the salt on the meat. We cannot wait to go back and enjoy this restaurant again.
