Excellent meal! Lots of options on the menu, but we went with the following:
* Shrimp cocktail
* Mussels
* Brussel sprouts
* Broccolini
* Little gem salad
* Profiteroles
Ate outside which was nice - plenty of heat lamps. The service was good. The flavors were great.
Worst restaurant experience in LA ever!
They were missing numerous dishes
therefore we decided to leave this place.
We then were treated with the utmost
condescendance by a manager, highly
superficial, giving us the poorest service
I have ever seen. Being used to the best
restaurants in the world, I was shocked
to experience this.

Delicious overall but there were a couple Of glaring gaps, like the bland chicken liver mousse and dry roasted chicken. Their weird looking bread and salted butter is FANTASTIC as were the horseradish sugar snap peas. Good dessert options too.

Tonight was my first time having dinner here and it was a very pleasant experience. There are some very questionable recent reviews by what look like bots so I’m not sure what’s going on with that story but I can attest that I am indeed not a bot and everyone at our table had a good experience. Our server Kelsey did a great job as well.
The inside is really well done with beautiful wall paper and the whole restaurant is built around the open, square bar. There is also seating outside in the front and on the side. It would certainly classify as a classy California French style bistro in my opinion. It’s also south of the busy part of Hollywood so parking here is a lot easier than it would be a few blocks North.
I started off with the Steak Tartare and it was great. A very healthy sized portion of meat and also a large side of bread. It was actually more filling than I am used to with this dish and I would certainly recommend it. For my entrée I chose the Halibut and I was pleasantly surprised with how bright and delicious it was. For dessert we chose the beignets which were not quite as good as the other dishes, I would say 4 out of 5. They weren’t as moist as I like them. Some of the best I’ve had in SoCal are still at Disneyland weirdly enough.
Overall a great meal in a classy location. I would recommend to any fan of French cuisine. Doesn’t seem like a business sort of place, rather a place for a date or dinner with friends or family.

I’m local to Hollywood and have driven by this place multiple times since it’s opening. Finally decided tonight I’d pop in for a bite and some wine. I saw at least 10 unoccupied tables so I thought tonight’s the night. Upon arriving, I was immediately disappointed by my greeting. I didn’t have a reservation but was sure they’d be able to accommodate considering how many tables were visibly open. I told the hostess with the sparkling eye shadow I only had an hour and wanted wine and a quick bite. To keep it short, the only response I got was a rude, short No. They were booked. There wasn’t even an effort to try to accommodate especially since I only had an hour and they could turn the table pretty fast. Didn’t expect Gigi’s could achieve that level of snottiness but they did. Will never go back.

Ok, I think I love it here. Ended up at the bar with the most accommodating and informative bartenders.
One recommended the sardines which I had a initial negative reaction to… I bravely ordered them. It was absolutely fantastic!
The drinks were lovely, food was great, & the vibe was just overall perfect. I will absolutely be back.

Get the burger. Skip the broccolini, escargot (could use more flavor and salt). The branzino was good but the burger and fries were exceptional.

We ordered the uni toast, the artichoke, the duck and the branzino. The branzino was delicious and stole the show. The duck was good but pretty rare even for duck. The uni toast was good but not great value ($24 for three little bites). Not sure what they were going for with the artichoke. It was pretty tough and lacking in flavor. Would have been if it was fried or steamed with some aioli to dip it in - definitely seemed like some thing was missing. The wine list was great, a lot of interesting options and you can find a good bottle for 50-60 dollars. Never made it inside the restaurant but ambience outside was great and the servers and staff were super friendly and helpful.

My new favorite place! Such a lovely atmosphere, incredibly delicious food, and the cocktails were absolutely devine. The waitstaff was all so kind and gave amazing service. Every detail of the food down to to their homemade butter (so good!) is incredibly thought out and oozes quality and care. The piano man cocktail (pictured) is the IDEAL drink for a cool LA evening, sitting cozy outside under the heat lamps. A perfect date night spot! Can’t recommend it enough, we will be back - thank you Gigi’s! Welcome to the neighborhood!
