Everything was delicious. I had very high expectations about the ribeye however prawn& lamb were the stars of the table. You can get better stake at another restaurants like Nusret, etc.

Enjoyed dinner here, staff are very nice and friendly and the food is delicious. Had their New York Strip and Raviolo. Started with Oyster and a watermelon and honeydew salad with burrata. I'd fly back just for their bread and butter!

My wife and ate at Gwen for the first time last night and we were not disappointed! We arrived early and staff was amazing. They were not officially open and we were offered a table in the bar while they were opening the restaurant. Bob helped us with a few drinks and we were shown to our table. Athena was our server and she was delightful. Very knowledgeable and friendly! We ordered and the appetizers were promptly delivered..... the prawns and the bone marrow were delicious. We ordered the ribeye and a pork chop (best chop I have ever eaten). To make the meal an even bigger treat, J.D. was assisting Athena and he too was awesome! Don't even get me started on the desert...... Amazing!
We can't wait to go again.

Best dining experience in LA!
I stumbled while staying up the street at Tommie Hollywood on a random Wednesday evening, and I couldn't be happier I did. I sat at the bar and Sebastian made me feel like family, listening to my likes and preferences, ultimately suggesting the absolute perfect pairing for me that evening - bone marrow with prawns and a glass of Zinfandel. Unexpectedly James walked by and checked to see how I was doing as well. I had an incredible time and can't wait to go by and experience more of the food.

A delicious, protein centered steakhouse by celebrity chef Curtis Stone. I have tried Maude in the past so I had been wanting to try Gwen for some time now. I usually don’t come to Hollywood for dinner due to the parking issues and all the tourists/craziness, but for the right place I will happily venture to this part of town. Parking can be tricky depending on the day and time, but I was able to find street parking right out front for a 6:30PM Saturday dinner, otherwise they offer valet for $10. Our server Jacob was very attentive and so was the rest of the staff we encountered.

We sat at the Chef’s Counter and it was the perfect choice and seemed to me to be the best seat in the house because you get to see the steaks cook and the kitchen operate. In the front of the kitchen the lead chefs handle all of the steak and seafood, and at the back corner the junior chefs handle the pasta, appetizers, and desserts. To really get the biggest bang for your buck you will want to order a steak due to the fact that that is the highest quality ingredient available on the menu and the most senior chefs will be cooking that specifically.

We started with the Bone Marrow, which was probably one of the best that I’ve had in LA. It had a large meat yield, was cooked perfectly and the chorizo on top of it was a great and unique addition. We also ordered the Wagyu Bresaola and it went quickly. It was paper thin like prosciutto but more rich in flavor. I am already a big Bresaola fan so to add Wagyu to the dish was a great and new combo for me. For my entree I chose the Saffron Pappardelle and it was very good. The rabbit ragu was another new addition for me, and although it was small in portion size it was still yummy. For dessert we topped of the meal with the Zeppolis, and although a bit expensive for $16, they were also very good.

Overall a great meal and I plan to come back in the future to try some steak. I would say it would be perfect for a date, celebration, or a dinner with friends/family. It doesn’t feel like a business dinner location to me but I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a private room in the back for that. I would recommend and plan to be back in the future.

Visited for dinner last night. The steak was cooked wonderfully, super delicious and seasoned perfectly. The wine options are extensive, both we chose were delicious. The carrots (side dish) were a little undercooked and the cocktails were nice but not the best. I would definitely return though as the service and overall evening was lovely.

Food was absolutely incredible. Everything tasted amazing. The atmosphere was really nice. They let you chose your knife from a box with many options that they bring to your table. My girlfriend and I thought it was very fun! Would highly recommend for a date night!

My first time dine in experience with Gwen was EXCEPTIONAL. I have been to Gwen to shop for their bone-in rib eye (30 days dry aged in house) for special occasions at-home dinner before. This time, i actually got to dine in with them for a special occasion and got to experience their way of preparing the same meat that i bought to cook at home. Conclusion of this review is already mentioned in the beginning. It was “EXCEPTIONAL” with all caps. For party of 4, we ordered 3 appetizers/ 2 main (bone in 30days dry aged rib eye and New York strip) 3 sides. The server was very polite and very attentive, dining area was well spaced out, loved the vibe of the restaurant. We did spend some money but every dollar was worth it and we did not leave the restaurant hungry.

Great experience! Totally recommend!
They have an open kitchen and we were sited right near it. We were shocked how clean it’s the kitchen and the whole time the chefs were cooking was like a show, a silent one, because everything was going smooth, nice and looked so easy (they are very professional).
We had a bone in ribeye with brussel sprouts and duck fat potatoes and as an appetizer we had wagyu bresaola. Everything was fingers licking ????. The food here is delicious and the whole experience was outstanding!

One of the best steak restaurants! I stayed near the kitchen which was well organized and clean. The steak was amazing, the service as well… definitely we will come back just for this restaurant.
