LA prime is the worst kept secret in LA. On the last night of my work related LA trip we decided to dine at LA Prime. We were excited as it was inside of our hotel and seemed to receive decent reviews. Upon arriving we took in the spectacular view and proceeded to be seated in the surprisingly empty dining room. A number of us were shocked at the expensive prices and limited options on the menu, but we understood we were at a steakhouse and expected the experience to be equally elevated. We were unpleasantly surprised.... My coworker ordered lobster bisque it was watery and later told by the server that it was watery for the day. Another co worker ordered AU Gratin spinach and had to send it back due to quality.... The last straw was our loaded mashed potatos that had to come out of a box (pictured below). We complained to the manager but were told the food was prepared correctly and it had to be ourr taste that was off.... All in all this was a horrible dining experience and I would recommended Fat Burger over this establishment for finer dining.
We had special Birthday celebration for our close friend. She's been wanting to go to Bonaventure for awhile. Turns out it's been close down for about 2 years since Pandemic. At least we had blast Birthday dinner at LA Prime. Excellent service???? Most importantly the Birthday girl is happy ????

Oh my goodness. This was nothing but the best. We were staying in the hotel and wanted to give it a try, and we were VERY glad we did. Dinner, drinks, dessert- Everything was so rich and the flavors were layered in such a way that makes you want to come back for more.
Sides are served family style, so absolutely bring a group and try them all!

Had a wonderful experience with my husband. Highly recommend the mashed potatoes and creamed corn, we had filet mignon each (slightly undercooked). The drinks weren’t the best but the food, comfort of dinning in the hotel, and service was Stellar. Would recommend

Really nice experience specially at the sunset, yes that golden hour! Food was good, they have nice plates, I had the ribeye, sides were good too. Services was good as well and if you’re looking a place for a special event, this is one of the best options

My wife and I were looking for a romantic dinner date and we were staying at the Bonaventure for the weekend, so dinner on the 35th floor was a no brained! The service was top notch and all the food was prepared perfectly. Be ready to
Spend a bit, but views like that ain’t cheap! Hahaha. Would recommend for any special occasion.

Our server Maria was wonderful! They did not have the bottle of wine we wanted but she brought out something similar for us to try and choose to get that bottle. Then she made our anniversary dinner very special by bringing us dessert. I had the lobster and my husband had the steak. Everything was delicious and the views were also not bad to look at. We would definitely recommend and we hope to be back soon with friends.

The views are amazing at LA Prime. We had dinner reservations at 5:00 and were seated at a table facing DTLA. There are also tables facing the Hollywood sign and eastward. Our waiter, Mark, was top notch and exactly what you’d expect at a high end restaurant. I had the Caesar salad, creamed spinach, and the NY steak. It was a perfect night. FYI, if you have a reservation at 5:00, the elevators won’t take you up to the restaurant until after 5:00. It was a little bit odd. Next time I will go early and hangout at the bar downstairs until 5:00. I loved everything about this place and can’t wait to go back! I also love that valet parking is free if you dine at LA prime.

Came here during my last evening at Westin. Place was busy because it was USC’s graduation week. The lobster bisque was too salty and the salmon was ok. Just too pricey for a mediocre food.
