My husband just picked up two burgers for $35 at Slab shortly before closing. It’s really disappointing if you’re very hungry, waiting for dinner and have to throw it right in the trash, because all you get is a burger bun, a ton of onions and “meat”, which was pure fat. Almost no edible meat, but 90% fat. If they don’t have proper meat left at that time of the day - please don’t sell or discount. But taking full price for something that is not edible doesn’t make anyone want to come back.
Spectacular barbecue, from an inspiring dedication to the craft of smoking meat at the highest level. I'm from Texas, and this compares to the best I've had from there, with refreshingly different nuances in the sauces and meat choices. The beef Slab is heaven in meat form. Eat here now and thank me later.

Terrible!! Will never call on this place again. Ordered 4th dinner 2days in advance, they canceled 1hr before delivery. Oh well, food probably just as bad as service. Gone to BBQ JOINT in hood. Ordered basically same thing from TEXAS BBQ, $100.00 less. I should have known better, a bbq spot on 3rd st. Ha!!!

AMAZING brisket and wonderful ribs! ????❤️Great service and atmosphere. The prices are high, but the portions are very large, so save your self some money and go for the smallest portions. ???? Ps. Try their spicy BBQ sauce ????

Amazing BBQ restaurant!!! I thought this kind BBQ the meat could be dry and too old. But all the meat are juicy here beyond my expectations!!! Love it and definitely will come back again!

Just imagine you being on vacation in LA. Hungry, super hungry and you have your girl and your daughter. Everyone is hungry and you guys love bbq and you’re from Florida where you can get GREAT tasting bbq for $20 or less for 2 people. So you lookup bbq places near me and this place pops up 0.7 miles from you and you see the good reviews so you decide to go there. Park and go inside only to be greeted with super expensive food but you’re already super hungry. Why not? It’s expensive it must be great bbq like it says Texas bbq. So you reluctantly pay the $76 for bbq for 2. (Meal doesn’t even come with a drink) and you walk back to your car and open up your food super hungry ready to dig in and you sink your teeth into the most the disgusting bbq you have ever tasted. The “baked beans” were some kind of pinto beans I would say with a terrible flavor. You contemplate doing a chargeback on your card for this atrocious meal but remember that’s unethical to do so you let them keep the money. That was my experience, threw most of the food away and it was disgusting. Spent $76 on something that they should’ve paid me to try????

Food was alright. Ordered the Pastrami sandwich. It was very salty and for the salty taste To go away I found myself drinking about 60% of my 20 oz water bottle immediately after eating the sandwich. The coleslaw didn’t balance the saltiness of the meat. Also another thing that was not so great was the price for a 5 inch sandwich. $20 for a sandwich is a bit pricey.

I ordered delivery a bit ago and got: 1 full rack of Tony's Rib (Baby Back), 1/2 rack of Spare Ribs, 1 medium coleslaw, and 1 small mac n' cheese. The baby back ribs was super tender, juicy, and smokey. The coleslaw had more of a bitter aftertaste that wasn't my favorite. Delivery packaging was very clean.

From NY to TX to LA this the best brisket bar none!!!!!
Loved it, the ribs were OK they had flavour and everything but they just weren't a match to the brisket. Next time I'm packing a pound of the brisket NO SLIDErs!!!
Service is good and staff very welcoming ????
