I come here all the time for pastries and breads, but my daughter and partner are OBSESSED with their breakfast & lunch options. The salad is always great, soups of the day never disappoint and the sweets are AMAZING! It’s a great little spot for brunch. Love it!
loved this bakery! first time in. the lemon rosemary poppyseed muffin was bomb. also got the breakfast sandwich with bacon, the brioche was incredible, and every layer down. big recommend.

Nice no frills spot with ample seating. The Atwater special breakfast was pretty good. Love that they work with the cat adoption company down the street ????

Just discovered this spot. Was blown away by the Rosemary Lemon cake. Wow. Insane flavors. The french toast and breakfast sandwich is also a great start to the day. I love looking for places like this that have spots to sit to get work done on my laptop. There was plenty of seating. Good spot to work with great food. Not much more I could ask for.

Food was terrific & selection wide even just before closing ...croissant was buttery! Roll cake -looked like a fat Twinkie - but filled with raspberry jam filled a trear need I didn't know I had. Super convenient as I was on a trek from DTLA [protests blocked the street to Grand Central Market] to Central California. My only complaint is that they identified a Jalapeno-cheddar cheese breadstuff as a bagel.

Sad to say I really wanted to like this place they have a good variety of pastries, but I am a customer service kinda a first impression person .
I waited waited young female employees were chatting along for a while while I was standing there like a dummy lol one asked are you ready to order ? I said yes and then she went and started making coffee for someone do t know who
I was about to leave and a guy helped me
I ordered a lot of things
Chicken sandwich was terrible all dry and all stuck on the bun
Pastels were ok not too impressive and it was not cheap at all so lesson learned won’t be back here any time soon will keep looking around not too impressed with this place

I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly, the food is amazing, and even the drip coffee is fantastic. It's a great spot to get holiday treats and sweets, too - right now it's October and they have so many adorable themed foods, from black cat macaroons to skeleton chicken pot pies! All their baked goods are fresh and imaginative, from their delicious baked donuts to their rosemary scones. I haven't tried a single thing from here that wasn't phenomenal.

The Village Bakery has some of THE BEST bread in the area. I recently went to a bakery in Echo Park that sells a walnut raisin bread that was so hard it was inedible! My favorite bread here is the raisin cranberry walnut. It's amazing by itself or in a sandwich. They have an amazing carrot cake cupcake.

Cute cafe for breakfast! This place is adorable, so many different types of pastries and baked goods its honestly so exciting haha. The breakfast was good although it lacked flavor a bit. I love their pastries though and would come back for those. Cute seating area, also beware of long line in the morning.
