Pretty nice french bistro w covered patio. Had the pumpkin soup and sea bass. Both very tasty and fresh. Patio has a nice vibe with brick walls, strung lights and some trees.
A delightful French bistro owned by folks who very obviously care about doing things well. The setting is gorgeous and classy and the service is friendly and unobtrusive. Great outdoor patio outback. The food is superb. I highly recommend trying the french fries; they are special and I haven’t seen another restaurant do fries like them.

This place is simply amazing! From start to finish everything was absolutely delicious! This is my second time here and will be adding this to my list of best restaurants in LA! We had the Caesar salad, steak frites, cauliflower, cheesecake, and mouse. Everything was perfect!

Charming French Bistro in the heart of Westwood. We had a very nice dinner inside the Bistro as the patio was fully booked. We enjoyed the creative cocktails and moved on to the ceasar salad and onion soup. The half chicken cooked French style was delicious as was the smashed burger and we enjoyed sharing the cheesecake with well done coffees at the end. Glad this Bistro has found a home in Westwood.

The absolute best french restaurant in Westwood!
The quality of the food here is superb. My favorite dish is the steak which comes with their a special sauce. The waiters are helpful and accommodating. Dessert menu is somewhat limited.
It's a great place to visit on your own or with family; however, keep in mind that it does get crowded during the weekends so make reservations in advance. There are indoor, outdoor, bar, and wheelchair accessible seats available.
Parking spaces are basically non-existent so use ride-sharing apps or walk to the restaurant if possible.

Absolutely loved this wonderful little bistro. Everything we had was delicious. We especially loved the truffle frites! All the vegetables from the dishes were fresh and excellent. The chef and crew did a wonderful job. Our server was excellent as well.

I love this place. Such a cute ambience and great service. A little piece of tranquility in Westwood. After a scrumptious lunch, the latte was delightful.
I am not from this area so I made the mistake of parking in a building across the street. Pricey. Take your time and you can find parking that is cheaper.

EVERYTHING AND MORE! The food here is impeccable. Salmon was cooked to perfection laid on a base of lentils, carrots, and onions. Flakey and buttery through the whole fillet. Truffle fries were divine. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Truffle sauce was rich and zesty! Cheesecake was creamy, with a sour twist from the blood oranges.
Definitely on the pricier side, but worth every penny! The chef takes bold leaps on traditional favorites.
Gorgeous interior. I felt transported to a the French countryside. Music selection is classical/jazz and is top notch. I felt all the stress from the day pour out of me enjoying this true culinary experience.
Violet bistro is officially added to my rotation, it’ll be added to yours after your first visit too.

What a lovely place to escape from the mayhem and foolishness! Small menu, but to be expected (it should expand as things improve). What they offer is full of flavor. The chef brings over fresh catch from Santa Barbara. The staff is attentive and engaging. (Julia is fabulous) The restaurant opened JUST before COVID and have worked really hard to provide an environment that spirits one away. They have outdoor, indoor and Atrium seating to accommodate all. Really lovely.

I loved getting my Violet Burger via Violet To You! It came in a very nice durable bag that I know we will be using often. Burger flavors were scrumptious and definitely worth it!
