I went yesterday only because Johnnie's was closed. I hadn't been there in a long time due to something that I didn't like. I ordered the slab of baby backs that came with 2 sides; I chose beans & potato salad. Also, I ordered a pound of beef links. The cost was $48. I thought that the cashier didn't like fact that I had questions like what type of container do they put food in? I didn't like the potato salad. The potatoes were cut into huge chunks and was very bland!! The ribs were slightly over cooked.

Great food. Good prices but very slow and no hope in sight of getting any faster the staff seems to have the attitude that they don't mind if you were to leave for that lack of timeliness when taking and filing orders

It's definitely my favorite place to go every time I'm in LA definitely today most of all means the most because they were literally closed when I walked up and she stayed open just to allow me to order the customer service here is amazing Not to mention the food is great. I'm from Chicago so we know..????????????♀️????

Sometimes I drive 2 hours away when I'm in a mood for delicious barbecue it's really worth it.

Customer Service is horrible! I waited in line to put in my order for 10 minutes. Guy kept looking at me, didn’t say just a moment or nothing. I left! The BBQ good but it ain’t good enough to put up with the horrible CS.

Absolutely the best customer service at a BBQ place in LA. Lil bit at the front desk always has such a pleasant personality and very helpful.

The food was VERY NASTY. I would never go there again. I ordered two Rib Tips 1lb each one without sauce. One Beef Hot Link that taste like pork. Baked beans ×2 only got one the other was sauce. Macaroni Salad x2 very nasty and gummy. I got 1 Rib Tip without sauce and I got the sauce mix. Now the beans that turned out to be sauce was mild. I got one corn that was hard still. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN MY ORDER A WASTE OF MONEY. THIS MY HONEST OPINION. AFTER STANDING A LONG LINE THE DAY BEFORE THE HOLIDAY. SMH!!!!!

It's a no for me. I know this place is LA standard but I was not impressed. For the time and money it takes to get your order the food was dry and the bbq sauce seemed like mostly tomato paste. So misleading because it smells amazing even when you drive by but the actual food was the most so so bbq I've ever had.

The food was delicious. The price was reasonable and the service was great. The cashier came to my car window, took my order and it was brought to me quickly. She was so helpful that I told her to keep the balance of the $20.00 for a tip before she even turned in the order. I would greatly recommend that if you are in L.A., near Slauso Ave, and looking for some great barbecue, so stop by. They have a location in Inglewood also. I don't really care for them location on Florence, they are too slow, food is good if you have time to wait for ot.

I heard about this place, so I decided to try it out. First off, maybe hiring someone else with much better customer service, especially if she's your first point of contact, (girl at the window.) Second, my "mild" barbecue sauce wasn't mild, it was bland mixed with regrets . Third, my chicken tasted as if it was reheated, and the potato salad was definitely store purchased. All in all, I'll probably go back! (LOL joke) seriously, I won't be returning.

As an L.A. native and a big fan of BBQ, ill say this about Woody's BBQ, if you know you know. Their restraunt is always busy because their BBQ is amazing. My favriote item on their menu is their Rib Tip dinner. Honestly I think it's the best bang for your buck. Juicy Rib tips served with two sides and slices of bread. For an extra kick, I recommend adding a link to your order.
