We are so sad we moved away from this area. This place is a TREASURE! We love all the authentic food, and the owners could not be more kind. They sweetly answer all our questions about the different food and even help us with pronunciations of Korean food. Speaking of the food--it's delicious! You get HUGE amounts of food, making it a great value, and everything we've had is delicious. You can't go wrong with the bibimbap, but we've tried many other things and have never felt disappointed. Thanks so much for the wonderful food!
I grabbed lunch here on a whim and am so glad I did. The woman who took my order was so kind and the food was incredible.
The tteokbokki is amazing! We ordered the spicy zucchini banchan and I would eat that every day if I could.
I disagree with previous reviews that indicate portions are small. We ordered 2 items and definitely have enough to eat for a few days! Our total came to about $25, which is EASILY what we would spend anywhere else. I will absolutely be frequenting this restaurant often, and look forward to dining-in when they are able to resume service!

Small portions for such a big price! First and last time I order from this place. Going back to my regular spot Arirang. Taste was nothing special, probably the worst place for korean food. Yuck.

This place is lovely. The interior is quaint and charming and the lady who greeted me was wonderful. Listened to my stories about having been born in South Korea.
The food is EXCELLENT!!!! It made me so happy. I can't wait for them to be open for in person dining so I can bring my mom!!
This will become a regular place to visit, and I have to drive over an hour to get here!!

Love the homemade meals and comfort in the environment when dining in was an option. The take out orders are still just as good! I always ask for seafood pancake and dduk bogki. The service there is always quick and friendly.

Everything was quite tasty and hot. There were some spices going on. 4.99 lunch special 11 am to 3 pm. I had chicken chow Mein and 6 chicken wings. They were very fragrant and yummy. The waitress was friendly with a nice smile. I was the only customer other than one to go guy. Nice background music. They have large tubs of their food available, 24-34$ or so. Each of the lunches come with fried rice. I took on of those extra s home. Can of pop for my beverage selection. Nice atmosphere. This was my first stop (alone), we usually go on to other restaurants closer to Maplewood Mall. I'll be back.

This place is decent, although portions are on the smaller side. They don't rake pre-orders over phone for lunch - at least not anymore. The meat in the japchae is usually very little and in tiny bits only. Food orders usually come out within 10-15 mins. It's not my preferred korean restaurant but since it's ther only one on this side of town, it suffices.

1st time I tried the Bibimbap. A little bland and skimpy with amount of beef. At $12, a carnivore like me were expecting a little more protein lol. Really liked the fish cakes in those little side dishes.
Today I'm trying the Dumpling Soup... That was the best food decision I made today! Broth is creamy packed with meaty flavor. There 10 cabbage-filled dumplings with al dente wrap and savory fillings. This is a bit pricy for lunch, but makes afternoon work hours a lot more bearable lol.

Great service, clean but food was either bland or too strong of 1 flavor. I couldn't eat more than 1 bite of it. Not worth the price. I've tried Korean food elsewhere and liked it, but not here. Very disappointed.

I love love Korean food. Ate it since I was little. Now, I was so excited that this place opened up so close to me. The first time I went in, it was empty except for two business men. I ordered japchae. It had absolutely no flavor. Then I asked for mandu. Same thing. Plus they were soggy. I decided I didn't want to come back but a few months later I was craving Korean food so bad I ended up back here. Completely empty this time. I ordered tteokbokki. It was a big portion but super spicy. I can handle spice- just not a lot. The rice cakes didn't taste fresh. Some were cracked. I couldn't finish my meal and ended up just eating rice. I don't think I'll be back..
