Fun, old fashioned place that has good food at a good price. The over medium eggs were cooked perfectly, which has been hard for me to find at most places. Fun staff and people watching too. Definitely a must try when in the area for a real diner experience.
Place is closed. They do a terrible job of communicating this to customers, but it's not deserving of a terrible rating. Maybe they'll be courteous enough to update their Facebook page since the community was kind enough to raise over $70k to help keep this business open..?

Came in for breakfast on Thursday morning. Seating readily available. Bathroom and diner area was clean. The waitress and cook were both very nice and accommodating to me. The food was great! The omelette is a bit fluffy. I prefer mine a little thinner but the taste was good. I also ordered the O’brian potatoes! Yummm! I had to get a pancake and that was really good also! I should have ordered two! The coffee wasn’t the best tasting but they did come to try refill at least three times. I was asked several times if I need anything else a few times also! Great customer service! I will be back again.

What an experience! Sat at the counter and watched all the hot food come off the grill! My plate was delicious, hashbrowns were crispy, raisin toast and ham were wonderful. Not too many old diners like this around anymore. The place was packed, but worth the wait!

This is Uptown and had fun having a super early breakfast at 4:30 am here.. it was very cold outside and the first the the lady said when we entered.. Shall I get you a coffee honey.. it’s too cold outside. Nice place to be and loved being here. The lady was very friendly and I loved talking and discussing with her how they started it and how passionate they are managing it.

It is what it is, don't expect more. Good hot food in a crowed little train car diner. When it is packed, expect to wait awhile, but we thought it was well worth it. Good breakfast. Go for the experience!

This place was great! A group of us where traveling south when we saw this place on Google and just had to stop by. A little tight, but everyone got in. Great food and the staff... the staff was quite unique. Plenty of friendly banter going around. You'll enjoy yourself and come out well fed from this place.

This place is great. The cook is funny and the waitress is nice. I'll definitely eat there again and soon. I had the 1/2 lb burger. California Style. Food tasted very fresh. But the biggest complaint about this place is on the back of the menu there is a list of people who have visited there. Ummmmm ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Where is Joshua Jackson aka Charlie aka Pacey? Charlie's mom worked there and they both deserve to be on the menu.

Very famous, traditional American diner restaurant with tons of throwback style -- not limited to the awesome fringing neon light bulbs. Service staff play their parts with panache, expect a few bellyfuls of good humor and laughter as they take turns kidding each other and yours truly, the customer. The food is actually very good with all the usual fixings plus all-day breakfast.
Mickey's diner shows up in many a postcard and movie cameo and rightfully draws many tourists. But really it's the locals that keep the place lively and busy. They're open 24hrs you should go there now for the food and stay for all the Instagramable moments ????????????
