One of the best southern food I’ve had in North Jersey. Had the ox tail and it’s literally falling off the bone. The yams are seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend this place. Great job Gail !

Not the same Mac and cheese wasn't cheesy enough the mixed vegetables collard greens and cabbage more collard greens than cabbage, catfish taste like it had water in it

Great food and service. We got the whiting, fried shrimp and oxtails. Everything was delicious. Will definitely go back for more. The only thing is it can be a bit of a wait, even when you call ahead.

Not professional. Food was not at all impressive. Price list scribbled out. When asked for a print out of the receipt the owner got snappy about it and said she couldn't give me one because I paid with my card...... smh, what nonsense. Won't be going there again anyway.

Great soul food! The name says it all "Tastey" with portions like my dad would give when fixing my plate! I can't talk now because I'm too busy licking my fingers and my lips!

The food was so bad today....potato salad very eggy, oxtail dinner $28 and don't come either rice, macaroni was burnt and the stuffing was horrible. Over priced and the cashier slower than an old turtle ugh it has fallen off bad

Brought food from this place horrible I ordered the fried chicken wings with black eye peas rice and gravy nothing on the plate had flavor the wings was hardly breaded and was tough the rice wasn’t cooked right and the gravy had no damn flavor horrible even the uptown’s was a 6 out of a ten and I got a German chocolate cake that will make a hostess cake seem gourmet absolutely horrible I will not be going back to this place waste of money ????

We ordered from Tastey's via DoorDash on 1/31/21 and it was great! The portions were very generous. The potato salad in particular was amazing but it was all very good. Would definitely recommend!
Sorry the pictures are so dark, had a purple light on in the room.
