This establishment offers authentic Colombian cuisine they have plant based/ vegan options. They restaurant has a nice vibe at a reasonable price. The food is delicious, the staff was friendly, helpful and offered great recommendations, my service was fast. I’ve been exploring authentic foodie spots dining on the 7 train this is a great stop.
A great place to visit with tasty food, friendly staff, and affordable pricing. I loved all dishes and can't wait to return soon.

I brought my friends here after doing a food tour in Queens with Esneider from Culinary Backstreets. Esneider talked about his mom, the “arepa lady” who I had heard about before but a never tried. I’m so glad I came all the way back out to try the arepas! There was a wait but we were happy to walk around the neighborhood (lots to see!). Came for lunch and ordered 1 arepa per person just enough to fill our bellies. Great service too.

Great place to eat. Very friendly service, great food and then place was not crowded. Would definitely eat there again, even with the travel time for me. The food was very flavorful, not greasy and decently portioned.

Their arepas are so good! I love their different sauce choices. The food is relatively cheap and made me full! Would recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Place: Medium-sized restaurant with tables varying from couples to groups of 8 (potential for more). Center of Jackson Heights, so good luck with parking! Very close to the subway stations anyhow. Single-room bathroom, very spacious and clean. Spacious layout so wheelchair and stroller-friendly!
Food: It was phenomenal. Everything. My group of 5 (+1 toddler) loved all of our dishes - mini empanadas (beef, cheese, chicken), guacamole with fried arepas (!!!!!!!!), street corn, chicharron, etc. Best arepas we have all ever had.
Drinks: We ordered a pitcher of passion fruit sangria and it was refreshing, good amount for ~1.5 glasses per person. Not too potent, but enough for a very light buzz for the non-frequent-drinker. Sangrias and margaritas are machine-mixed.
Price: Affordable - for a group of 5.5, each eating at least two appetizers or appetizer/entree, plus pitcher = ~$140
Service: Very friendly crew. Our server and host were relaxed, let us take our time, and the food came out pretty quickly with great quality.
Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to come back here!

My husband and I were brought to this place by curiosity after watching a TV program with A. Bourdain. Good service and nice atmosphere. We ordered the green plantain with chicharron and the choclo arepa with carne desmechada.
Unfortunatelly not enough spiced meat in arepa, but the pineapple chutney was great and matched perfectly with this chicharron dish.
Next time we have to try another dishes ????

Not a ton of veggie options so if you order one thing that’s veggie everything else tastes almost the same. What really made it taste better for the veggie options was the sauces. I’m sure the meat options are probably amazing. The juices were good but I don’t think they were as fresh for the price. For $5 a cup I’d expect it to be freshly juiced. Cash only

Had an arepa de choclo - carne desmechada. Impressed with the soft semi-sweet arepa. Had fun with the sauces, and liked the green sauce in particular. Had a single beef empanada too, why not for $2.
