This establishment needs to be shut down until it can professionally manage a front door. This is how people die in crowds. To any management reading this, please take this seriously. Hire someone with club experience to manage your door, purely for safety reasons. This was truly surreal to witness tonight, and I’m choosing to write this before filing a report. Let me know if this had been fixed in a week and I will take down this review. If I see mismanaged crowds again, I will get the city involved. (Thank you♥️ your business seems to be doing well, wishing you the best. Be professional.)
Great place for partying, really good Drinks and good music. Price are little expensive. Entry fee of 150 on Drinks per men when I went.

Drinks were good. Food was good (portions are small). The 90 minute time limit was something I was not aware of - and being abruptly kicked out of the restaurant without warning at 8:45pm was shocking after spending hundreds of dollars. There was no warning. The waitress just threw the check on the table and said "see you guys later" while we were still drinking.
Being forced downstairs was fine, until they came to take away our barstools without warning as they "took up too much space".
Never coming back. Service like this is unacceptable.

Last night, I went to dinner at Her Name was Carmen expecting a pleasant meal, however I received the absolute opposite treatment. This meal was a disgrace and I will go as far as to say I was harassed.
At the end of the meal, I was sitting finishing my cocktail having a conversation with my friend before a waiter came up to me very closely. He then proceeded to whisper in my ear that the security man had told him that I was gesturing towards, and making fun of him. I had no clue at all what he was talking about and was taken aback by both his words and how uncomfortably close he had come to me. After responding that I had no idea what he was talking about, he proceeded to say “Good, let’s keep it that way or there will be issues”. I was being threatened and made to feel extremely uncomfortable by the waiter, to whom I had done absolutely nothing to.
He proceeded to glare at me across the restaurant for the remainder of the meal, before gesturing aggressively at me as if he had other things to say to me. By the end of the meal, I felt intimidated to leave a tip in fear (although the service I had received was disgraceful!)
I spent around $200 to experience an intense act of unprovoked aggression, and found myself running out the restaurant towards the end of the night. A horrible experience and I do not recommend this to anyone - a shame given the quality of the food is completely overlooked when being treated as such.
I would appreciate someone from the restaurant reaching out to me about this.

First of all, let's make a difference between the upscale restaurant and the club. Those are 2 completely different spaces with different hospitality focus. The food is spectacular! I went there on a Wednesday. They had flamenco live, and a phenomenal pro fixed menu with wine pairings at a very reasonable price. The Sommelier is extremely well knowledge and attentive. I felt like I was at a Michelin rated restaurant. The food was well crafted and perfectly seasoned. If you see reviews about bouncers and other stuff, that's not what the restaurant is.

Review is for the club, not the restaurant.
Good music, fun Latin vibes. Solid female:male ratio, so expect to pay up as a guy, but tables were not THAT expensive as far as the area goes.
Was packed on a Saturday night and a fun time.

The worst customer service I have ever had. I went to the bar downstairs with 5 of my friends, It was 2 am, at the door they said they were open until 4am. Because the size of our group there was a minimum of a bottle consumption which was ok with us. Then at 2:15 am they turned the lights on and stopped the music, we asked them what happened and they said they were closing because the bar was not that very full. We consider this very disrespectful as we had pay $500 for that bottle 15 minutes before, and we were planning to stay there at least for 2 ours. We tried to talked with the manager but she was defensive and consider our complaints unreasonable. She was not nice at all. Absolutely not a good experience for 6 tourists trying to have a nice weekend in New York. After one hour of being back and forward in arguments, they decided to charge less, we signed the receipt. SURPRISE next week, checking with the bank, we realized they had charged the FULL initial price. We are now disputing that through the bank.

This is my favorite restaurant / party place in Soho!! Hands down!! I’ve been a loyal customer of HNWC since they opened at the end of 2018 - beginning of 2019, and even went to their pop up in Tulum on November 2020, which was amazing! I’ve tried everything in their food, cocktails and wine list menu. Therefore, I recommend this restaurant 100%; specially their brunch on Saturdays, Wine Wednesdays, Latin Party on Saturday night with famous DJs such as Cruz (Latin Grammy winner) or PJ. If you like electronic/ house music then go on a Thursday or Friday night and you’ll find DJs such as: Nacho Isa, Gaspar Muniz or Fireware. You will always have a good time there! The staff is super friendly, polite and courteous. The bouncers are very selective, but once you’re in, you will love it and would want to go back again!

Collectively, we tried over half the cocktails on the menu, and they were all excellent. The food surpassed my expectations, the staff was friendly, and the vibe was extremely fun. The lounge downstairs with a DJ was great post-dinner. Will 100% be back

Her Name Was Carmen and Changed to Delta
In New York there were 28,284 new cases and 150 deaths last week. Case rates are accelerating 37.2% each week and death rates are accelerating 48.9% each week over the past 21 days.
Her Name Was Carmen, from 7pm to 10pm maintained over 2500ppm (outside was ~350ppm) of CO2 with between 45-55 people in a basement seating, without ventilation. None of the customers wore masks and even upon entering was told that it wasn't necessary. The only people in the restaurant who wore masks, partially, were the bartenders and the hosts. None of the other staff wore masks. This is amidst a Covid Delta variant that doesn't seem to care if people have been vaccinated or not. I was in a group of 7 but I didn't eat or drink, as I kept my mask on, so I can't comment on the food and the consensus is that it was good and mixed opinion on the drinks. The 2 tables that had nine people each near us seemed to enjoy their evening as well. The bar with a constant minimally 7 people seemed to be satisfied. In any event, it seems that the food here is adequate but rest assure to get a free side of Delta along with it.
