Portions are big. Cheese omelet is a bit dry-ish. Potato is a bit dry-ish and not very flavorful. Waiters are very nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is joyful.
Good place to catch a bite and eat some classic dishes. The restaurant has a great vintage and classic American diner atmosphere. The food is a bit expensive, however.

I come here once a week for take out and eat in sometimes as well. The food and service is very good. It is a great neighborhood spot and during the pandemic it was a life saver, offering take out.
It's casual atmosphere makes it comfortable for people to enjoy.

Had the scrambled eggs that were good. The drinks were good too. The place has a very old school vibe, in a good way.
Wanted to replace the toast with greens, but was told only potatoes can be replaced with greens but not the toast ????????♀️

Lovely time having breakfast with my husband. He ordered the steak and eggs, was very pleased with it. I got the eggs and turkey sausage with a side of avocado. We decided to seat all the way to the back, it was a little chilly, maybe next time get the middle area. Overall the food was good and the server was very attentive.

Clean diner, fast and friendly service. Extensive menu. I popped in for a fast breakfast. My eggs were cooked to order and were fine; however, I do not recommend their corned beef hash.

Stopped here for breakfast... Of the many diners I've eaten breakfast at in the USA this one was average. Had cornbeef hash which was a processed version and it tasted a little plasticy. Coffee was good.

It was a Wednesday night/Thursday morning around 2 AM, we scrambled to find a place that was open with good food on the way to Penn station since the train left at 3. Just so many closed restaurants, it was maddening, but the Malibu Diner was there to help like a step stool for a kid trying to get to the cookie jar. The best part of the night might have been the food here, the coffee was phenomenal even by diner standards, and you can't beat the 24 hour setup. Go there, eat there, make it a tradition.
