Amazing restaurant!! Do yourself a favor, and get the Fly's Head dish. It's an amazingly savory dish with pork and chives.

Amazing authentic Taiwanese food. They have been closed for over a year, just reopened two weeks ago. Large menu with all of our Taiwan food favorites. You can dine in with great service, or takeout food. Delivery service with UberEats, Fantuan, and Hungry Panda.

We ordered our favorites: stinky tofu, oyster pancakes, braised pork rice, braised pigs feet, dong po pork, three cup chicken, sauteed string beans and water spinach (kong xin cai), and candied taro chunks dessert.

10/30/2021: Had another great meal for takeout. We especially liked the Eggplant with garlic sauce (we asked for the spicy version) and our usual favorite appetiser Stinky tofu. We also enjoyed the Taiwan style rice noodles (not as good my mother-in-laws recipe, but very good, would order it again). They also now make and sell Taiwan style pastries for dessert.

4/9/2022: Highly recommend the Braised Pork with Preserved Bamboo Hakka-style dish. The Stinky Tofu and Oyster Pancakes are always tasty classic Taiwanese dishes.

Amazing experience here, every dish was delicious and the servers were so kind and welcoming. We got the garlic shrimp, three cups chicken, XO sauce cabbage, stinky tofu, and scallion pancake. Can't recommend it enough, we stopped by because we had a craving for Taiwanese food and now I wish I could eat here every week.

I love the Taiwanese flavor here. Definitely satisfied my Taiwanese craving after years going without it. The 3 cup Chicken was my favorite! And I had like 5 bowls of rice just to finish everything. The sweet girls working inside made my day and were eager to strike up a friendly conversation too. Love to come back again.

Giving it a first try on a Sunday there were only three table of customer. Worker spoke to us in Cantonese for some reason. I hear its the same owner from OK Ryan in college point. I did not used the parking but I check with the waitress space 7 to 11 are reserve for customer. I was not impressed for the dishes Ibhave ordered. For $50+ lunch for two. I did bot think it was a good value. However I usually try a restaurant few time before deciding if this will be my regular place. I am looking for a restaurant with free parking where I can bring friends for gathering and can customize to my liking (off menu items) when I bring my own seafood is a plus if they charge reasonable cooking fee.

We were looking for a quick bite to eat after visiting the Queens Botanical Garden and stumbled upon OK Canaan which is conveniently located across the street. The restaurant had just opened for the day, and we were the first customers. Upon entering you immediately notice that the décor is mostly red, as in, red walls and red table cloths. There is a ramp to the left of the entrance, along with a small set of stairs leading down to the dining floor.

We ordered the Taiwanese Style Lo Mein, Pork Chop Combo, Fried Chicken Leg Combo and scallion pancakes appetizer. The Lo Mein was okay. It had nice flavor, but I’ve had better elsewhere. Same with the scallion pancakes. Luckily, both the Pork Chop Combo and Chicken Combo were delightful! They both came with some pickled vegetables, steamed cabbage and boiled tea egg. The rice that came with it had minced pork on top. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a nice crunchy skin. The pork chop was tasty and tender. I would come back just to eat these two dishes again.

The waitress was super friendly and helpful. And the service was fast! We barely waited five minutes before the food was delivered to our table. Next time I’m in the neighborhood again, I’ll be sure to stop by.
