First off the vibe in this place is exactly what you would find in old San Juan the music, the decor is spot one. We had the lobster and shrimp and the house steak with rice and bean. The rice was perfect like if my grandma made it with love and the beans were great( normally I wouldn't even write about beans ) but these had all the right flavors of the island. The skirt steak was packed with the churrasco sauce. My personal meal was the lobster and trifongo and it was beyond what I was expecting portions were huge and tail , claw and along with shrimp.
The drinks were great strong and made perfect also but this review is too long but i had to mention it. This is my new spot.
If your in Bushwick/ Williamsburg. This is the spot if your tired of eating at your local chuchifrito. Everything here was good.
Both the trifongo and the crispy snapper fish with coconut pineapple rice are delicious! Be careful they automatically put 20% tip on your bill even for just 2 people ( not a big group only fee)

In one word - Excellent- food, service, hospitality.
We enjoyed our meal. We ordered the Grilled seafood, Grilled snapper, shrimp empanada and fried yucca. The food was very delicious and the portions were great.
We will most definitely be back even though we live 45miles away.
Excellent.

This place was the best. The food the service, people, atmosphere. I could not find anything wrong with this place. We only scratched the surface as far as the food was concerned delicious. Every piece of food we had we could not find anything wrong with it. Definitely will be going again. PS the band and DJ I was home with my uncles playing music awesome.

Great fiendly ambiance. They had live music the day of our visit. We had Chicken Mofongo and Pernil Mofongo. Portions were enormous and flavorful.

This place is AMAZING. It’s surprisingly in the middle of all this hard core gentrified part of town. I say surprisingly because it’s *hella* puerto rican in the best possible way. As soon as you walk in the pr flag is everywhere ????????????????. I went on a Sunday night and it was pretty empty and honestly, this place needs to be packed.
First of all, the service their is great. I was served by this older lady who might as well been my tia. Super warming and lovely, but also ready to tell you the chisme type of lady. I ordered a mezcal margarita, and it was solid and fresh. We ordered guac with plantain chips and look at the size of those! I will say, in my opinion, the guac needed more salt ???? but I’m a pretty salty person.
I ordered the mofongo de camaron, and I fell in love. I think it had a salty mushroom gravy in it. It was ????????????????????????. It also came with the pr flag on their, OF COURSE. Please try this place, it is delicious ????

Am I Puerto Rican women having this restaurant in the area makes me feel like I just took a trip to San Juan with the authenticity. I’m so happy I found this place. Best Puerto Rican food in the area hands down !!! Better yet best Spanish food in the area.

My party came early ... everything was well made. Attention is ++. Everything clean.
Will return to see consistency. They have a second small dining section- ... bit pricey but portions are large.

We highly recommend this place, the food is superb, the drinks are their own creation, the decoration of the place is a a little trip to the Caribbean, the music makes you really travel to palm trees and sunny beaches and. Don't know if they have music every week but the second time we were there they did. It's something like a pto Rican band, and last but not least, the location! two blocks away from a nice walk along the river. What else can we ask for? I've been there twice and the servers/owners are professional and friendly and make you feel like family!
