The owners are very nice. Good people. They provide TRUE Memphis style BBQ in that they use dry rub. We had ribs and pulled pork.... I wish they'd add some Sonny's or Seasoned Salt.... something that gives more savory saltiness... THEN it would truly be Memphis BBQ. The greens and Mac and cheese are both really really really good. We want to try the chicken next time... it's been sold out

Incredible food! Best pulled pork sandwich and baby back ribs we have EVER eaten - and we are BBQ snobs. In addition, the candied yams, corn muffins, coleslaw, and collard greens were also off the charts delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes. Everything packaged with care (it’s takeout only right now). Hard working duo at this restaurant- everything is homemade! Only open Thursday- Sunday so note the limited hours. They deserve our support. Let’s keep this treasured gem alive!!

Omg, this BBQ was incredible!! The brisket melts in your mouth, and paired wonderfully with the BBQ sauce. My mom loved her pulled pork sandwich! I called asking about my dietary needs, and they were VERY accommodating! (I’m lactose intolerant) I had tons of choices! The potato salad was the best I’ve ever had! My mom is picky about coleslaw, and she loved it!! My dad got the smoked beans and collard greens and said they were sooo good! We absolutely loved everything we ordered! We can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in town!

This place is not yet a restaurant, but a take-out BBQ. The food quality is excellent - Brisket, Tri-tip, Pulled-Pork are all delicious & melt-in-your mouth texture. Great flavouring & cool folk working there. Have not tried the sides, except the Cole-Slaw, which was excellent. I'm sure this place will evolve into a sit-down restaurant but for now . . . . support this business & enjoy their meaty offerings!!

This bbq was real deal. The brisket was my favorite. Super tender and good smoke flavor and well seasoned bark. Great dry rub on the ribs. Personally would prefer spare ribs but the baby backs get the job done.
The bbq sauce is so good I ordered extra the second time. The sides and cornbread get the job done but bbq stole the show. Brisket was better then Bludso’s or Maple block imo. Expensive but worth it.

Thank you for great Memphis style BBQ. My wife and I grew up in Newport Arkansas just 1 1/2 hour drive from Memphis. Now we live in Burbank and it’s finally great to find a BBQ restaurant in Los Angeles (North Hollywood ) that’s true and authentic to the BBQ that we are use to enjoying! Thank you very much and worth every penny!

I finally got to try this place and it's great. Got the sense it's a small mom and pop operation so you're definitely supporting a small business when you eat here.
As a Texan, I'm quite picky about BBQ and the brisket and tri tip sandwiches were great. Good quality meats and the sauces were very flavorful.
My only small nitpicks are the wonky hours (closed half the days and they close at 8pm for dinner, so sadly you can't go as spontaneously as you'd like) and the sides were a bit small.
I will definitely be back soon!
PS - Pro tip - they are cash or cash app only!

This will be the 2nd time that we are ordering our Christmas Dinner from Memphis! The food is always AH-MAZING! If you want good quality meats and the freshest most tastiest sides ever….this is the place. Definitely worth every dollar. Once you’ve eaten here, you’ll never be able to eat at another chain of BBQ establishments again.
The owners are humble; appreciate the business of every patron whether you’re ordering for one or 25… they let you know that they appreciate you. This is something that is lacking in most restaurants/food establishments. I appreciate you Memphis Grill and wish you continued success!
