This used to be one of my favorite breakfast spots, but it seems to have gone downhill lately. I ordered the potatoes with a sunny side egg & bacon - nice large portion for $13, but it was pretty flavorless & the potatoes were not crispy at all. I was grateful for the hot sauce and pepper on the table. Also expected 2 eggs not just 1.
The ordering is entirely digital now, which is fine. It does automatically include 20% gratuity, but doesn’t show that on the bill at first. It then prompts you to add a tip when checking out. Ended up paying a 40% tip due to this system.
They close at 2, we wrapped up at 1:45 & were being absolutely rushed out. Just wanted to finish the rest of our coffee before leaving but they were putting all the chairs up as we tried to finish. Waiter stood at our table while we finished to take our plates.
Pros: the coffee is still delicious. Also got the grilled muffin which was 10/10. Maybe just stick to pastry & coffee for takeout next time.
Stopped in to try their new Smash Burger. The bacon onion jam was killer with the soft brioche bun. We also ordered a side of fries with cheese sauce. Lunch doesn't get much better than this. It was perfect and so yummy! Can't wait to go back!

Had great food and service for Saturday brunch sitting outside on sidewalk. High marks especially for my turkey sausage and breakfast potatoes. — haven’t had any that were better anywhere else.

Small brunch spot with indoor & outdoor seating. The food was great & the have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options and substitutions. Ordering & payment is all online on your phone, which wasn’t a problem for us but I think most people might prefer to see a physical menu. The staff work very hard & make sure you are comfortable + satisfied with everything. Overall great spot!

My husband and I used Luna Cafe to make our wedding cake a few months ago. The result was absolutely outstanding! Sarah & Amelia were so wonderful to work with; the cake was exactly how we imagined it would be. They were so easy to work with every step of the way! Cakes are just the tip of the iceberg at Luna Cafe though; I have never had a bad meal from them. Can't recommend enough!

Luna’s Cafe did not disappoint! We were in Philly for a few days and ended up going back twice! The coffee was delicious and the food was even yummier. The staff was beyond friendly and gave us some great Philly sightseeing ideas! Can’t wait to come back!

Small yet comfy spot. I love the vibe of this place. Nice service. Great price. Yummy food. And for a small restaurant they offered a nice variety of food options. Recommend visiting for sure.

Stopped by for Sunday brunch. They were very busy and quoted us a 30 minute wait for an outside table. Went around the corner for coffee, and after about 20 minutes we got a text that the table was ready.
Service, while friendly, was average to below average, and didn’t merit the 20% automatic gratuity, A guest should not have to ask for a coffee refill, nor should they have to ask for the check or to-go box.
The biscuits and sausage gravy with fried chicken was OUTSTANDING. Possibly one of the best I have EVER had.

See the food was quite good, but the service was unfriendly and slow. A 20% tip is automatically taken from every table so I guess the service doesn't have to be good. :/ You can definitely find a nicer breakfast spot.
