Came here last night for a 8:30pm reservation for restaurant week. The size of the place is about a living room, tables very compacted and close together. Tables wobbly and very small even for my 5 foot stature. The bathroom was incredibly tiny even for my size - The smallest closet size.
I had Caesar salad for my first appetizer part of restaurant week. It was very yummy besides the anchovies.
I then had Eggplant stew and it is not a stew from what I imagined. The consistency for the stew was crunchy- chunky not soft which was unexpected. I absolutely deplore parsley and there was a lot of it on it, unfortunately the menu didn't say there would be parsley in them. I thought the taste was just ok.
For entree I had salmon which was great except for the parsley on the plate. I thought the carrot and the shaved vegetables mixed well. The way the salmon was cooked surprised me but it mixed well. I thought it could've used more sauce on the dish.
The dessert was delicious I had the ice cream which was absolutely perfect.
I think the place could really benefit a big renovation or just moving in general to a different location. The uncomfortableness if the place really hurt my experience. There were too many tables shoved in one living room space and the bathroom degraded the whole experience. Everytime the door opened, the entire room felt how cold it was. I spent ~$75 for 2 people then tip. I don't think it was worth that much.
With that being said, I left knowing that although the food was good to great at times there are better places to eat Caesar salad from, and salmon from. I would not get the eggplant stew again if I were ever to come back. I might come back for the ice cream, but honestly I could probably just go to Franklin fountain for the same price. Honestly I give this place a 3.5 stars, really could improve on the dining experience.
I had a delicious plate of fettuccine with short rib ragu. The fresh noodles had a great bite to them, and the short rib was fork tender. The server was really welcoming and attentive too. This will definitely become a standby for me.

Delicious, low key and excellent service. We weren’t rushed at all. They have a nice outdoor patio as well. The pastas are handmade and the grilled calamari is fabulous. Portions were a good size.

Where to start. My wife and I are all about reviews and this restaurant seemed to get great reviews so we set out while in town to go here for some amazing Italian food. . Looking back these great reviews are quite old. Unfortunately there was nothing good to report here beside the warm bread in the beginning and the fact that we could bring our own wine. Please know every step of the way we were waiting for it to get better but did not. The eggplant as our app was absolutely frozen and reheated and it was bland and still cold. No flavor what so ever. . We ordered very simple
chicken parm with the homemade fettuccine with the vodka sauce.. My wife just plain chicken with a side of pasta. Besides being hot enough, the food was so bland. We kept looking at one another and saying, really. Not one time, not one did someone say, how is your dinner as of they knew the answer. This tasted nothing like we expected and the pasta which was home made was not cooked properly. I feel that maybe this place needs to revamp the kitchen. Also the place needs complete renovation for sure . It was so very hot in this place with 1ac unit that eventually i had to ask them to turn on or up. . If you still give this place a chance, go to the restroom before you get there. This restroom is the so small and outdated. Please don't think I'm being too harsh. Just wish someone told us especially with so many other choices. Sorry LaBaia. Good luck.

Incredible food. Truly better than Giorgio On Pine. The pappardelle was amazing. Small and family run. Service was only ok because they were understaffed and swamped on a friday night, but would definitely come back for the 11/10 pasta.

Went to Bistro La Baia for the first time for a friend gathering and it was excellent. We had the best customer service. It wasn't crowded. Beautiful establishment. Wonderful dishes, plentiful plate amount and presentation, good dessert. We met the owner a very pleasant man. This is an excellent establishment and offers outside seating as well as inside. 2 hour meter parking in the area. Good for intimate conversation. Seating arrangement was exceptional in space. Been to some bigger restaurants and seated very closely. Thanks for the consideration. Pictures of dinner: Veal Medallions, Gnocchi with Vodka Sauce, Chicken Parm, Meatball and dessert Homemade Tiramisu, Tartuffo and appetizer Caprese salad was my favorite (didn't take pic but everything looks exactly as shown on line). Bread is very warm. Also, heard great things from a friend about the Lamb Chops. Don't miss out on this wonderful place. Thanks to Bistro La Baia for a wonderful experience. Keep up the great service!!!

My husband and I had the weekend special. 3 course meal and it was incredible! The service was amazing as well as the food. Tiramisu was so fresh, tasted home made and everything was the perfect temperature. Honestly everything tasted as tho I was in someone home having home cooked meals. I’m sad I don’t live close enough to frequent this little gem.

Ordered;
Chocolate Mousse Cake (AMAZING FLAVOR AND TEXTURE) 5 Star
Mussels
-red and spicy sauce (Worth the wait- order bread on the side to get all the sauce)
Linguine Clams
-tomato sauce (pasta felt under cooked, sauce was ok, clams ok)
Service needs some help, they take very long to serve. The actual waitress doesn’t help much and only came to give water. After that, tried to take my utensils when I only ate appetizer. She was confused as if she doesn’t know what she’s supposed to do. Took an hour just to get the appetizer. Another long wait for them to clear the table. I had about 3 total persons come since I had to keep asking for some service. The table beside me came 30 min after and they’re leaving before me.
The two other workers are nice, I just feel like they were not prepared to serve today. It isn’t packed either. Maybe the cheff or training or unorganized.
They are very limited on supplies either. They don’t have napkins, nor tissue, or other drinks besides tap water and bottled water. It is BYOB but that seems like at least a soda or juice should be an option.
I would like to see them upgrade to a better system to improve their flow rate.
Location aesthetically is very nice and calm.
Lighting is cute, star light type design
Soothing area with friendly other customers.
Outside seating may need an upgrade since the roof is just tarp that is very small compared to the actual space needed to cover.
Came here 6:23 pm
Leaving 8:53 pm

Came here for restaurant week, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating for a great Italian meal. Menu was fantastic with entrees from lobster ravioli, gnocchi, chicken parm, and more. Plenty of app and dessert options as well. Service was a bit slow because restaurant week but very friendly and atmosphere was perfect for a weekday date night.

Very intimate and cozy little restaurant, serving up delicious, authentic dishes. Very good meatballs, delicious pasta choices, excellent grilled calamari, an amazing seabass, and more. The funghi appetizer of mushrooms, shrimp, and cheese is a must try. And don’t forget about the homemade tiramisu! Note: Cash only.
