Today, I drove through a cloud of meaty smoke and immediately pulled over. I ordered the bacon stuffed 1/2lb burger with sauce. It was outstanding. Next time I am going to get the ribs. The people who were running the place were very nice as well. I highly recommend pulling over on 42nd and market the next time you are there on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

The best BBQ in Philly. I was born in the south, raised in the Midwest, so I know what good BBQ is. This is IT! We eat here every other weekend. Fast service and great food.

Hands down best BBQ in all of Philly. Generous portions. Delectable sauce.
Friendly and fast service. Family-owned. Made with love. Get there early if you want a specific dish, because they sell out fast, but that's how you know they make everything fresh!

Baby let me tell you when I say delicious I drove all the way from Germantown to get black pearls food the ribs are amazing and baby don’t let me tell y’all about the chicken oh my gosh FINGER LICKIN GOOD WILL BE BACK IM GETTING READY TO CALL THEM NOW AND LET IT BE KNOWN I WILL BE BACK YOU HEAR ME

The ribs and brisket are well cooked and tender , however the amount of sauce placed on the meat was lacking. For those that want meat fully covered by bbq sauce request extra sauce . The platters are moderately price however the size of the sides are on the smaller size . I wish they had a beef rib platter when I ordered I was informed that the beef ribs were only sold in slabs . Please try them out for yourself but know how to order

Exceptionally good stuffed bacon burger. Served me in 10 minutes even though there were 4 people ahead of me. Price was very reasonable, and they let me pay with credit card.
