I'm so glad Bower is part of the neighborhood. Let me get the info you need here first -- the coffee and espresso drinks are wonderful, made quickly, and delicious. I had a small drip coffee ($2.25), perfect medium dark roast, plenty hot. We also got an iced latte for just over $3.00 (add $1 for alternatives to cow's milk), and it was excellent. The yogurt bowl was rich and had a generous amount of yogurt, a good amount of fresh fruit (berries), and granola with honey drizzle. Very satisfying.
Now, I want to say the duo behind the counter seemed to know everyone who walked in. They were so sweet, kind, uplifting and cared about each customer. It was really busy when we went, and they got some of the orders mixed up, but took care of everything quickly and offered me a free refill. Just two splendid people taking care of all their customers while bringing joy to the community. I want to go back daily and be their friends.
Obsessed. Such a cute coffee shop with a beautiful aesthetic that will make you feel like home. Everyone is so nice and the coffee is delicious. Breakfast sandwich was also so good!!! Highly recommend checking this spot out! You won’t be disappointed!

coffee is so good but hands down the toast!! never had an avo toast, or any toast like this. the bread is like a toast/crostini?? cheese, cured meat, avo - it all works together so we’ll ????????

This amazing Cafe doesn't need my rating. But I couldn't resist. Spectacular coffee, rivals East side Vancouver. Chill but complex music. Great vibe from staff and regulars alike. A perfect place to perch while waiting for something at nearby hospitals.

Unfortunately, this wasn't my best experience. My friend and I ordered a chai latte, one iced and one warm, and both were mostly filled with oat milk. Second, when we ordered their breakfast sandwich, one came out with a burnt brioche bun and the other didn't seem like it was toasted at all. Not sure if I would come back here again.

Great place for a sit down experience. Cozy little cafe, and wonderful service. I had a couple hours till I could check into my Airbnb, and they let me sit inside till I could check in. It was greatly appreciated, and the bagel/fruit bowl were delicious :)

The bev was absolutely delicious, get it with the cured meat for sure. They serve la colombe coffee. Good croissant too. Cute place, great vibes. Wasn’t very busy on a Saturday morning.

I love this little cafe - we have eaten here a few times and they always have a great selection of fresh pastries as well as cool merchandise and large selection of fresh deli meat.
I though it was kind of strange to have a coffee shop and deli combo but Bower Cafe makes it work. This time I got avocado toast with bacon. It had too much avocado for liking and the bacon was not well-done but that's on me for not asking. I really enjoyed it despite not meeting my usual specifications.
The coffee drinks are great and I will be back soon to see what they have in store!

I haven’t been over to Bower nearly enough, but I’m going to change that.
The latte is reliably smooth, there are some great pastries and snacks on display, like that lovely donut I tried today. There is also an extensive menu that I haven’t tried, but really want to. And also - the meats and cheeses! So unusual and unique for a coffee shop.
The owner seems like a great guy, too. It’s the kind of place you want to support. It’s definitely gotten more popular over the last year, so let’s hope that continues.
