My husband and I had an amazing dinner at this beautiful restaurant. Both my duck and his trout entrees were perfectly cooked. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the elegant but relaxed French vibe. Highly recommend!
Restaurant week and we were super excited for the cute patio, lovely brasserie vibe and French music. Cocktails and wine were great. Best fries everrr. The service was a little slow but the big miss was the steaks not appropriately temped. Portions were great and the service team was so personable and fun with the kids once they got out to us! Would try again after restaurant week.

All I have to say is that the customer service is superb! The food was alright and I would probably come here again in future if I’m in the area for a grab at Steak and fries. I also had ordered the ice cream/sherbet which i was pretty impressed about. I loved their medium rare steak!

Wow wow wow. I don’t leave reviews often but this place deserves 10 stars. First time trying duck and it was outstanding. One of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. Perfect Valentine’s Day date for my boyfriend and I! We’ll be coming back for some of those happy hour drinks too!

A delicious place with lovely people.
I came here with some friends and to my surprise there was plenty of room to sit.
We were immediately apologized to due to two items on the menu being unavailable, and I appreciated knowing before we began looking.
I enjoyed a sweet and rich espresso cocktail, it was smooth and chilled. Like an iced coffee, but so much tastier.
We shared appetizers. First was foie gras with brioche toast and blue berries. The bread was perfectly crisp and mild. The berries were in a sauce of themselves and paired wonderfully with the rich and smooth foie gras. The other appetizer was escargot. Served properly, cooked in garlic and butter. It's difficult to explain this combination outside of savory and savory!
My entree was a steak, cooked with garlic butter to a perfect medium. It was soft, cut easily, and very flavorful despite being a lean cut. The fries were equally well prepared. Salty and crispy.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal, and so did everyone else. The waiter was very helpful with his explanations of dishes and pleasant in his demeanor. I'm certainly coming back to find out how good the missing duck and skate are. And hopefully that time, I'll leave room for dessert. There's an apple pastry with cinnamon ice cream that I regret not being able to order.

Really nice meal at Gabi - the surroundings don’t clue you in on the type of good food that’s coming out of the kitchen. French onion soup was really nice. Tried a a few of the entrees, the duck and risotto were great, the fries are top notch. Drinks were good, not amazing and the desserts were all good - the pot de creme was a particular standout.
Service was excellent!

We all enjoyed ourself. Eight women dinned together and only one was not happy. The onion soup was delicious. We made it in before 6:00 and had cocktails for 5 dollars. Yea ! I think I had skirt fish. It was amazing 5 stars all the way. It had potatoes under it that were fried in duck fat and I could not believe how good the fish meal was. The duck was questionable. My friend eats duck all the time and said it was VERY good. The Pate was shared and loved. The other lady did not think hers was cooked enough and did not like it. The apple desert was a must. Perfect !

Finally tried this place out during the recent Center City Restaurant Week (Sept 2021) and glad I did!
The restaurant didn't originally have availability for outdoor seating, but since we moved our reservation up to an earlier time, we were able to get a table outside which we preferred. Our waiter - who was a really funny, personable and attentive guy - came out pretty quick to take our orders. The deal for this year was a $40 3-course dinner, and I definitely felt I got more than my money's worth. I ordered the Cheese platter (appetizer), Lamb Stew with Carrots &Mashed Potatoes (entree), and Pot de Creme (dessert). Everything was excellent! The Lamb was so tender and filling with the carrots & mash. I always like a good cheese plate so it was my top app choice, and the fig compote just added a nice additional umph to the cheese with the bread - their breads were also good! (We had a couple baskets lol). And the Pot de Creme was so thick but light, rich in taste and was a larger portion than expected.
All in all, I had a great dining experience (food & service) at this restaurant. I would definitely recommend checking them out and I would like to dine there again.

We went for restaurant week to Gabi - after the other restaurant we were supposed to go to cancelled our reservation, Gabi kindly took us even though they were packed. We were seated and our server was absolutely the best - he was so accommodating, friendly, and lots of fun. We were first given bread and butter (I do wish the bread had been warmed!), and then we ordered our appetizers - we got the French cheese board, the escargot, and the duck pate. Oh my gosh!! The appetizers were AMAZING. The escargot was delicious - highly recommend. Our waiter even brought us extra bread to dip in the leftovers which was so nice. My boyfriend ordered the duck confit and I got the steak frites. The roasted duck was unbelievable, he said it was the best he has ever had. And not just that, but everything else on the plate was delicious - the vegetables and some sort of caramelized onion mashed spread. It was over the top good. My steak was good, and I did really like the peppercorn cognac cream that they served. I do wish the steak had come with some other side like my boyfriend's. The desserts were alright - which didn't matter because we came for the French entrees and appetizers - but the eclair wasn't the best we've ever had, and the chocolate hazelnut cake was still yummy. Overall, we gave Gabi a 4/5 stars.
