Great Cafe style French cuisine with a uthentic menu by the owner and award-winning Chef Olivier who one on the cable TV show "Chopped". It's worth the trip and experience, All LOVE from France to Philly.
We were there 4 people for dinner. Food is good. Only thing is not acceptable and not professional that they add extra adjustment %4 to the bill and no explanation; 0 Food is tasty; 4 Service; 4 Atmosphere; 3.75. I would prefer to not going back; there are a lot of same or high quality restaurants to go. Not recommend

Food was very good, portion sizes were about perfect. Waitress and bar staff were awesome.
Drop a star for a arbitrary fee and adding 4% for using a credit card. They claim it's a transfer of the charge they incur. I take credit cards and am a very small business and it only costs me 2.8% to run a card. GTFO with this stuff.

Food items are hit or miss, the onion soup and escargot puffs made to the top of the hit list.

Good food but very small portions. Our server was very helpful I am pescatarian so it was a little difficult. We went there specifically for the souffle but it wasn't what we expected

Today was my first day dining out in well over a year, and I chose Caribou Cafe. I've always loved the ambience of this local bistro. And they did not disappoint. The service was excellent, and the Warm Frisee Salad delicious. As a solo diner, sometimes you never know how you're going to be treated. But no one was rude, which was very much appreciated. Looking forward to going back soon.

If you follow me, you made notice I don’t find myself at too many French cuisine spots, not because I don’t like French food, I just don’t come across too many. Going to the Caribou Cafe for restaurant week was an experience. Starting the dinner with drinks that clean your pallet was interesting. Having Absinthe with its strong licorice taste got me reading for the courses. The water is used to drip over the clump of sugar to distill the drink, if the drink is too strong for your liking. First course was a salmon rillettes and escargot. Each bite was refreshing and full of flavor. The next course was scallops and a pork loin drenched in a delicious brown gravy stuffed with spinach. Again full of flavor. We finished the dinner off with creme brûlée (not part of the prefix meal) and the banana bread putting. Both sweet and delicious, the pudding had this sweet tangy glaze that made every bite unforgettable and who does like an amazing creme brûlée. What is amazing about French cuisine is the presentation and combination of flavors. The entire experience was amazing and would recommend the Caribou Cafe for anyone who is looking to take a special someone out for an amazing dinner experience.

Unique options of food. Nice little outdoor setting. Friendly staff. Good portion served.
Food was delicious, meats were tender but lightly seasoned. Metered parking available in front of the restaurant and in the surrounding areas. Child seating available for parents with toddlers. Follow us on @gettingabite for more pictures and reviews.

Came for restaurant week. Will definitely be returning for more!
Pros:
- The service was fantastic. They were very attentive and responded quickly to any issue. I didn't particularly like the potato leek soup and left it. I didn't complain or say anything. The waiter, Brian, asked why I left it. I simply said it wasn't to my liking so he asked if I wanted him to change it for a salad. That's excellent service that differentiates a good restaurant from an excellent restaurant.
- the seafood crepe was ridiculously good. The profiteroles and the salad were both very good as well.
- the petit creme pot was tasty!
- they gave free bread to start which seems to be a practice that's dying out.
Cons:
- the turkey osso buco was somewhat dry and the rice that came with it was too soft. Needed texture.
- the leek soup was definitely not something I enjoyed
