Enjoyed myself, our waitress Bri was amazing and very attentive???????? The food came out fast and in a timely manner. The food and drinks were good. The margaritas were pretty limey but still good.
The restaurant was pretty hot in the inside.. no air was blowing extremely hot????
You have a limited time at your table, so be minful of that.
Overall, had a very good time.

Myself and my daughter went; it's always a good time at Copas. Whether it's just for a margarita session or to just get out the house and occasionally people watch. The food is really really good and the drinks awesome~~
Also a cool, laid back place for a 1st date

Nice little place I found. Says it's been here since 1978. I ordered a classic philly cheesesteak and an order of Mexican fries. The fries were the bomb. The cheesesteak was good but I've never had one so I got nothing to really compare it to.
We ate outside and there was like a 2 hour time limit at the table. Also they wouldn't let you split checks so that kinda sucks. They had a good selection of TAP beers

Have been here a million times but today I had the most wonderful bartender!!! Dixie was absolutely wonderful... smart, fast, caring,.... if I could steal her for my restaurant I would. Thanks Dixie

I love their mojitos, nachos and my absolutely go to..which is the salmon, asparagus and mash potatoes. It never ever disappoints. Especially the mash!
One thing I do NOT like is if you order your food over the phone, you have to pay with your card. You cannot pay when you arrive. Which has annoyed and inconvenienced me a few times too many. If you want to order food to go and pay with cash, you have to do it in person.

Fast service. We were seated downstairs since the outdoor seating was closed due to an earlier rain.
The wild berry margarita was delicious and you get the whole shaker along with your glass.
They only allowed us (and others) 1 hour and 45 minutes for our stay, but it was enough time for a round of drinks - we didn't order food.
Most other customers were getting their food quickly though.

I went in to purchase dinner and get a quick drink I was having issues with my form of payment and through patience and understanding of the kind waitstaff I was able to rectify the situation by visiting an ATM. They were trustworthy if me and I came back to pay the bill. The food I received was very good quality in taste and the rum and coke I had was good quality as well. I have gone here a few times now and it has always been a great experience, a must visit for anyone in the university City area! ????

Tasty food, not many vegetarian options but the ones available are all good.
On the other hand staff seem absent, on multiple occasions I've had to step away from the table, walk all the way to the front of the restaurant and search for a waiter to ask for water and drink refills as well as sauce.
For me food is usually the top priority so I would've still given four/five stars but with such service they have the gall to include mandatory tips in the bill.
I've also had a less than ideal experience when getting food delivery from here, amongst other things I had ordered fries and specifically asked that they pack some ketchup, no ketchup was provided.

Copa's will forever by my MVP! This is the place my girls and I would go to pre-game before a night out in Philly 10 years ago and the margaritas are still unmatched!
COVID Regulation: Reservations only. No walk-ins allowed unless you luck up like I did and a party has just cancelled (I guess God really wanted me there that night lol). The tables upstairs are few & far between to honor social distancing (which is a good thing) and now they have a dining space downstairs.
The MARGARITAS though - they still get the job done! That tin can still pours 2-3 drinks for $10 (can't beat that) and you really can't go wrong with any flavor. AND if you can't finish it all, now worries you can take it to go! The Spanish Fries are still as tasty as they've always been. I even noticed they now have a Vegan Cheesesteak on the menu which is nice their catering to the plant based community! So happy that Copa's has survived COVID and the quality of their offerings has not diminished!
Not sure of the specifics on the gratuity policy, but with a party of 4 the gratuity is automatically included so be sure to review your total so you won't double tip...unless you want to :)
