First; our waitresses was AWESOME. She was congenial, knowledgeable, and on point! Her service made the difference in our experience. As far as the restaurant; it was as good as its reputation. Upscale seafood house. Traditional, classic decor. Quiet, low key atmosphere, but not stuffy or snooty. Lots of booths (I love booths). Very professional staff. And the food was EXCELLENT. From the salad to the desert, it was all delicious. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!
Overall a good time. My friends found their crab cake to be a tad bit salty but otherwise no complaints. Great portions, delicious cocktails.

My fiancé and I went for lunch today May 14, 2022 at this restaurant. It was our first time here. I simply chose this spot because I was hoping for some great scallops. My fiancé ordered oysters, 18 oz Ribeye, asparagus, lobster Mac n Cheese and a Dirty Martini. I ordered scallops, parmesan-herb Yukon potatoes, Mac n Cheese, a Watermelon Margarita and yuengling. We rated this restaurant a strong three. My fiancé and I, liked the bread our server brought out before our food arrived the most. My fiancé enjoyed the oysters as well. The Yukon potatoes were well seasoned and delicious. However, every thing else was just ok. The steak was wonderfully seasoned, yet had alot of fat and looked more like a 12 oz rather than a 18 oz. The scallops tasted a bit rubbery was over cooked with very little to no seasoning. The Mac n Cheese was bland. Our server Darrian was wonderful. The ambience was great. We will probably not be eating here again.

Really lovely place! The firecracker cauliflower is absolutely a must have. The lump crab cakes are soft, and there's a mango tartar sauce that's amazing. I wouldn't have thought to put mango in tartar sauce, but somehow it works very well. The fried calamari is okay but not the best. However, it's a quite a large portion. The drinks pictured are the blood orange spritz and espresso martini, both very good as well. Overall, a great place.

I had a nice dinner here with my family for a special occasion tonight.
Parking would definitely be a problem that you would have to deal with. It wasn’t easy to find a street parking around Rittenhouse square. You would have to test your luck sometimes. We usually park at the parking lot near Barnes and Nobles.
I came here with my husband, my 4yo, and a 6mos old baby in her baby stroller. We were directed to a booth seat. There were 5 steps leading down to the dining room, which wasn’t too convenient for family with strollers or people with wheelchairs. Although there was an elevator on the side of the stairs, but it was not offered. Not sure if it was out of order or not. But it wasn’t a big issue with us. The hostess did offer to give a hand. It was when we leaving the restaurant that we carry the stroller up the short flight of stairs.
Our waiter was very nice and friendly. The food was alright. This is our 3rd time dining in here. I feel like this time the food wasn’t as good as the last two visits. I’m not sure if they had switched chefs. We ordered fried calamari, shrimp cocktail, 18oz prime angus bone in ribeye with lobster mac n cheese and lobster risotto, and creme brûlée as dessert.
Overall, it was a nice dinner.

The staff was fast, fun, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The salad was fresh. The steak (medium well) was delicious and cooked to perfection. The chocolate dessert was amazing! ???? Highly recommend Devon Seafood Grill.

I’ve been to Devon for Restaurant Week in the past, but this time around the food was even better! The servings were generous and the quality had improved from my past visits, sometimes a hand off that comes with Restaurant Week dining. I would definitely recommend.

I was looking forward to having dinner at Devon. The cocktails were great. The goat cheese appetizer was fantastic but it went downhill from there. I ordered the Lemon Shrimp Campanelle. It wasn’t anything special. It was just ok. Overall, we were a little disappointed. Unfortunately, Parc decided to close that evening so Devon was more crowded than expected. The waitress was good but clearly overwhelmed. She did her best. I know good help is really hard to find right now so I am not taking stars away because of the service. This is strictly about the food.

We ate Monday Jan 3 at 2pm. We had the restaurant to ourselves. Collectively we enjoyed the lobster roll, scallops, ahi tuna and Cajun shrimp accompanied by a Gewürztraminer white wine.
We will be back. Often.
The scallops were properly seared to lock in the juices resulting in a moist and flavorful dish. The mashed potatoes were uninspired and a little watery for my taste. My wife also had oysters as an appetizer and they were both fresh and delicious.
The ahi tuna, ordered rare, was exceptional. The roasted potatoes were nicely seasoned and both the flavor and texture complimented the tuna.
The lobster roll was traditional and quite good. The Cajun shrimp was spicy and hot as expected.
The wait staff was attentive without hovering. As you can see in the pictures the building is attractive and cared for. Sheltered and heated outdoor dining is available as an option.
Pricing was reasonable. Full meal for 4, a dozen oysters, cocktail (15) and wine (60) brought the total to 250 or around $60 per person.

The new host in training wasn’t as pleasant as the trainer. We were seating outside in not so great chairs, we had to rearrange them ourselves. 20 minutes after placing our order we were informed that they didn’t have our choice cut of meat. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was amazing! They had a good selection of wines. The seafood mix was a good amount of food! The mashed potatoes were really yummy! Our server was good but had to be promoted.
