The place was clean the food was okay the service was mediocre at best. The girl seated us at probably the only table with no napkins and condiments. She sat us an never came back. I had to call her over to order, for dessert, and we were the only people in the restaurant. Another girl came with a mobile credit machine and told me my total which sounded too high. I asked her for a list of my order, she said she would print the receipt after I paid. Right after my card cleared she is like we added 20% gratuity so you don’t need to add a tip unless you want to. I was going to leave a tip but it was t going to be $12 when they provided no real service! I won’t be going back. I’m sure they won’t miss me.

The service was amazing, and the flavor of the food was delicious, i haven't eat this good in long time, 100% recommended

It was 5 stars went down to 3, is a shame that such an amazing place had this kind of review because of one employee, We were on a family vacation for the past 5 days/weekend we came to this place 3 time because of how much we love the food and service, on the last time, didn't have the best experience, our server mess up my daughters order, and my order, since we got there we notice she wasn't taking notes or anything, my daughter told me i can assured you she is going to mess up and she surely did, i ask my enchiladas without sour cream and it was like i didnt ask anything, my daughter ask for chilaquiles green sauce and she brought them red and when we told her she act in miss believe, she act like she didn't do nothing wrong, i even hear the manager telling her that it was her fault for not paying attention, when she brought the bill there was only the drinks in it, for a sec we thought they were going to give us a discount or some for the bad experience ? (I was going to talk to the manager to let her know that there was no need for that) but when she brought the thing to charge us it was the full ammount, not even offering us an apology or discount or anything for the mistake, if i ever go back to the city i will comeback to this place but will make sure i get another server.
When it comes to the food, it was delicious like the past couple of times ????

One of my favorite restaurants in Philly. Been going here ever since they opened. Authentic, cozy Mexican food that doesn't feel pretentious nor contrived. My go-to is the chicken enchiladas in red sauce, a side of guac, and tiramisu for dessert. Add a Mexican Coke for a perfect meal!

Absolutely amazing, fresh, authentic Mexican food!! I had the verde enchiladas and could barely finish them after the chips and salsa and choriqueso. Delicious! And the entire staff was quick, friendly and helpful!!! Will definitely be returning.

Great place, great food, great service, and great atmosphere. I had the quesadilla with pastor (pork and pineapple) and loved it. Also, the chips are freshly made there and they are exactly how I like them. Very tasty red and green salsa to go with it. I ordered the guacamole as well, which was great. Very clean and very nice. Down to earth place, not too upscale or fancy, which is just to my liking. The staff enjoys their work and it shows. Jackie was my server, who spoke both English and Spanish and did an amazing job. A++.... Keep up the good work! I can't wait to go back.

Delicious, great portion sizes. Definitely on the slightly higher end of Mexican restaurants, but not by much. Their specials are always fun! The food is perfectly seasoned (imo), which makes you want to come back!

My boyfriend and I came here on Cinco De Mayo. They offered free margaritas. We loved that there was outside dining and B.Y.O.B. The food took awhile because it was very busy, but it came out delicious. It was worth the wait. Would definitely be back! Great service, friendly staff!

For what it is, Don Barriga is a wonderful restaurant in the West Philly area. The food is quite tasty, good portions, and they sell superbly delicious cakes (seriously though, their tiramisu and tres leches cakes are intoxicating). The staff is also quite nice and very friendly! My only complaint would be regarding consistency: sometimes the quality of the food can be a little subpar for my taste. A couple of times I've had a burrito that was overly salty (beyond the norm), other times the guacamole has clearly been prepared from avocados that are not entirely ripe / still decently hard. However these moments are the exception, not the rule. On the whole, the food I order from here is delicious, so I keep coming back!

Hands down to their burritos, one of the best Mexican cuisine foods I ever tasted.
I think they are family owned business, they care about every order and every customer.
The food for the price is ok.
One should try, if u like mexican food.
