The greens were the star of the show. The ribs were just ok. The top had barbecue sauce. Underneath they were dry. No sauce at all.

The customer service at this store is absolutely horrible. The owner herself, RUDE and her staff follows right along. They have no system, no mask, and it’s very unprofessional in there. They have also cheated many out of money multiple times because they make up prices. They sold old sour mac and cheese which I believe is the result of spoiled milk or cheese but I am not sure. Will not be returning.

Rib sauce changed. It's okay got a little kick. Barely had any yams left @4:15pm and they are still from the can. Had to get because the Mac and cheese look like 3day old overcooked mess. Like it was in the fridge uncovered. It looked completely overcooked with lots of black pepper. Took me 2yrs to give them another chance. Ribs are okay but nothing like back in the day. That should be a good thing if you get better. But in this case it's not. Bbq sauce taste like a tomatoes base. Don't like too sweet. Not enough bbq flavor. Spoil your rib flavor. Hard to find good bbq ribs in philly so sad.

This is not the same place (West Philly)... I would go to Dwight's in North Philly and West Philly years ago this place has the name (Dwight's) but not the same. It not clean the place is full of flys and the food is not good at all. I got some ribs that had no meat on the bone. The Mac and cheese was dry but the candy yams were good. I wouldn't be returning. Thank you for the memories!

I ordered a beef rib platter which was delicious and reasonable I have been going there for years over 30 years and The Taste is still great in West Philly on 43rd and Lancaster Avenue. But it may be best to call ahead when your order.

after many years in this business you would think that cooking ribs would be almost second nature to this staff . we’ll that didn’t get it right this time these were the WORST ribs i’ve ever tried to eat . totally tasteless absolutely TERRIBLE ribs i will never go back to DWHIGHTS RIBS again a total waste of my time and money

I truly appreciate good food and the ribs were lean but they were cooked to perfection! I just wished that they were meaty.I also had the collard greens and the southern taste took me back ???? somebody's grandmother made them greens ???? and for dessert I had a slice of Southern Comfort ???? Baby I was lulled to sleep ???? I will definitely go again because the turkey wings been calling me since I saw them ???? I'm a foodie and I tell you that you won't be disappointed! Don't miss out on a great experience ???? ???? ????
