Slow service and terrible brunch. The food took 30+ minutes to be prepared and the restaurant was completely empty. Ordered an Omelette and it turned out burnt and basically inedible. Asked for it to be removed from the bill and the “Manager” said she couldn’t, even though I had not taken one bite of the so called omelette which looked more like a deflated tire when it was brought to my table. The potatoes had no seasoning or flavor and I immediately had to ask for salt and pepper. Our server was slow and innatentive and pretty much did not check on us to see how the meal was. Would not recommend.
We were in town visiting & Google'd "sports bars near me" because we wanted to watch football... it was Sunday, of course. It was nearby & had good reviews so we checked it out, posted up at the bar & it was great! Honestly, we felt like we were home. The bartenders were great & attentive & the drinks were going down way too easily. Definitely check this place out... great local vibe & good libations! We didn't eat, so I can't give any comments on that, sorry!

The host discriminates. We weren’t sat at a table we asked for even though nobody was inside, he told us we couldn’t sit there. However, two groups of white folk came in and he quickly did seat them there even though there was a full house. Server was nice but I didn’t get the meal I asked for and I was still charged for the meal I didn’t ask for. Trash honestly.

This has to be one of my favorite sports bars in Philly. Their food is some much better than I expected, it’s really good. And the draft list is amazing. If you’re going on a game day make sure you get their early!

Excellent spot in south Philadelphia.
Really well rounded menu, true crowd pleaser. Caesar salad with salmon a smoke show 10/10.
Drink menu is full of artisanal cocktails and local draft beers. Wissahickon Brewing’s Kolsh is highly recommended and even on the happy hour menu!
Don’t think twice head on inside!

Founding Fathers is a great spot to watch a game and enjoy some drinks. Our server was extremely friendly and offered outstanding recommendations for beer and cocktails. The T.V’s were well placed and the vibe was fun without feeling chaotic like other sports bars. The only issue I had was the food overall was a bit below average.

Holy mackerel! Vegan cheesesteak and probably my favorite vegan cheesesteak so far. What is Founding Fathers? Sports Bar? food mashup geniuses? food felons? First, do not go between 6:30 and 7 p.m. this the wishing half hour because everything's full price between happy hour and night time specials. Vegan Cheesesteak with seitan $14. It did come with fries but $14. The seitan looked like cheesesteak meat. The cheesesteak was very flavorful and most like a cheesesteak compared to my limited vegan cheesesteak experiences. They do have Cheesesteak egg rolls. The egg rolls were very good but $11. Personally I would like to see them switch the menu and have Vegan egg rolls and regular cheesesteaks, that's just me. Nice place, good conversation with the bartender and his friend at the bar. The friend left after finishing the drink he purchased during happy hour. Very good overall experience.

This is a great all-around neighborhood sports bar. The draft list is pretty standard but they have some a decent variety of bottles and cans. I was impressed by the fried chicken sandwich, which was juicy and seasoned perfectly. The ambience is lively but the noise level isn't deafening and you can easily have a conversation at the bar even during a sports game.

Had the Chicken Sandwich and my fiancee had the fish sandwich. Both were crunchy on the outside and soft/flaky on the inside with a lot of flavor, complimented nicely with the toppings. Very good beer selection, both on draft and in bottles/cans. Service was ok, but it was very busy for the Same game so I'll attribute it to that. Would be very happy to come back and try some more things off their menu.

Great local pub to watch a game... lots of tvs...solid beer list and food that’s consistently tasty. The atmosphere here in my experience has always been solid and has good vibes. It’s not as small as some bars but it's not a huge restaurant/bar so get here early on game days to make sure you get a table. Service has been pretty good when busy but when it’s slow is where they seem to struggle with staff disappearing or engrossed in convos/cell phones...but it’s few and far between so I’ll continue to go back and hope they’re part of our local neighborhood for a long time
