Truly unique dining experience with amazing food and drinks! Highlights of the dishes were the caviar, lobster french toast, peach salad, and warm cookies and ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Service was incredible and was so nice to have such close contact with the chef. Was such a warm environment and would definitely come back!
Successfully managed to snag a reservation at Her Place Supper Club on a Wednesday for their 830pm time slot. For quick reference, this restaurant is not BYOB and has wine, beer, and cocktails available.
When we arrived there was already a line outside. Everyone was let in at the same time and allowed to grab their preffered tables. We ordered a variety of drinks from cocktails to wine to beer and each item was solid. The food menu is prix fixe and dishes were introduced before being served. It was fun to learn about the suppliers and the thought process behind each dish. With that said - no accommodations or modifications are made for dietary restrictions.
In terms of food, the mussels and sandwhich meant to be dipped in the mussels sauce was outstanding and truly delicious. The other dishes we had I felt were only above average. The steak frites in particular were frankly not impressive, and I have had more impactful versions of the same dish on the same block.
Overall, for the price of the meal and effort it takes to make a reservation, I was expecting a more knock out flavor experience. It was definitely an intimate vibe and I'd come back, but there are other great and more available restaurants to be visited.

Chef Amanda Shulman has a great ‘shared dining experience’ business model and prix-fixe ($75 plus drinks/tax/tip) meal. Quality and service are emphasized and superlative. The ingredient suppliers, many local, are carefully chosen and the menu changes seasonally. Our clam appetizer, savory profiterole, and ricotta rotolo (photo included) - delicious. The tomato panzanella and chicken main - perfectly prepared but less inspired.

Chef Amanda and the crew are simply the best. This is hands down our favorite restaurant in Philadelphia, and it has zero to do with the fact that we know and collaborate with Amanda. We rarely have a night off, but the few times we have had in the last couple years, 3 or 4 of them we have spent with Amanda at Her Place. The food is incredible, yet approachable - everything feels familiar yet delivered in a new way. Don't let "prix fix" scare you away as some stuffy atmosphere - quite the contrary, Amanda makes you feel right at home, offering you an invitation to not simply eat AT her restaurant, but join her in her culinary journey as she shares her passion for every dish with you, walking you through it step by step.
This place is a must for anyone - a resident, a tourist, and everything in between.
Do yourself a favor and go to Her Place. Check the menu beforehand and make sure the flavors are to your liking, as the menu can change ever couple weeks, but as long as you do that- you will never be disappointed, I can promise you that.

You all made me feel welcome and at home. The food was SPECTACULAR and it was definitely a night I will never forget.

A truly incredible experience - Amanda and her team shared fresh, local food treated with such respect and finesse. Bright, balanced flavors and creativity beyond what you expect at even the finest of restaurants. Their love for the food they share is obvious and that, coupled with unbelievable creativity and an upbeat, intimate atmosphere made this hands down the most enjoyable meal I’ve had.

If you’re going to go anywhere in Philly, make sure it’s here. The best food, best staff, best environment I’ve seen in any restaurant. Been here twice and will be back again. It is genuinely so, so, SO standout.

I have been going here since it first started. I love the intimate atmosphere and how the chef introduces you to each dish. In the past they have been a byob but are slowly switching over with a liquor license. My favorite time to go is when the seasons change. Shared are photos from the spring menu in April.

I savored every morsel of one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. The intimate setting and attentive servers and chef made for a perfect evening. A 5 star rating isn't high enough. Bravo!
