Let’s taco ‘bout it! Delicious and authentic Mexican food combined with warm and hospitable service.
Bonus points for nailing the Chilaquiles Verdes. One of the best I’ve had.
Our friend’s pick this place for our night out and it was a great choice.
The atmosphere was really nice. The food was authentic and delicious. Their specialty drinks are a good choice. If you want great Mexican food and a fun night give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. ???? ????????

This place is a gem! I’m not being hyperbolic when I say this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Authentic flavors, homemade tortillas, sauces, desserts, down to even the fresh squeezed juice for the margs (not to mention more flavor options than I’ve ever seen!). The Molcajete was amazing and had shrimp, beef, chicken, and an amazing sauce with heat, flavor and just pure deliciousness. Also, the service was impeccable. Our server was lovely and had great recommendations and everything came out timely and super fresh. Oh yeah, and the queso fondido con chorizo was delectable, gooey, melty, savory and loaded with chorizo and served with warm fresh tortillas - hit the spot! For being a Saturday I was surprised that this place wasn’t packed because it should be! Give this awesome restaurant your business. 10/10!

After being turned away from a restaurant across the street for not showing proof of vaccination we wandered in here for brunch. What a WONDERFUL happenstance. My husband and I shared a guacamole appetizer, a brunch entree, micheladas and a Mexican hot chocolate to go. ALL items were FABULOUS and excellent service as well! I highly recommend trying this place out.

We dined in at their old location a few years back, and loved the food. We were trying to find a Mexican restaurant to dine in at on a Saturday evening, and came across this old gem. The service was great, they were very patient, and circled back very often to see if we wanted to order anything else. The margaritas were spot on, and the food was amazing, and very flavorful. For apps we got the queso fundido, and for dinner I did veggie enchiladas with a blend of verde sauce, and the red sauce. We will definitely be coming back for a date night :)

Hands-down one of the best restaurants in Philly. I almost didn’t want to post about it because I’d love to keep it all to myself, but Las Bugambilias has authentic Mexican cuisine and an amazing menu with so many options. The service was so sweet and attentive and the ambiance is vibrant yet comfortable and I can’t wait to go back again. You’re not going to find authentic Mexican food at a level like this in the city anywhere else. I need to go back for their bottomless brunch and again for dinner.

My husband and I have been customers since their previous location. The food is delicious, the service has always been pleasant. Their new location is an absolute upgrade! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Mexican food. Their tres leches is ridiculously delicious ???? a must if you live in Philly or are simply in the area.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MOLE IN AMERICA! As a frequent traveler I've had excellent Mexican food all over the country. From Florida to New York to California. But Carlos takes the time to make the best ingredients. He personally prepares over 2 days for his mole sauce. The result is a true experience. One thing we love about this restaurant is they don't feed you on salsa and chips and lose your appetite for the really good food. if you're here local or visiting from somewhere else take the time to come around the corner and stop and visit Carlos and his amazing restaurant. It's truly an experience.

Excellent service! Excellent food! Our waiter was fantastic: so attentive and such a nice guy. The restaurant is upscale Mexican with great decor. Loved the flan dessert and the churros with Mexican hot chocolate were very well done. The huitlacoche quesadilla was delicious as were the lentil and vegetarian enchiladas. We almost never go to dinner in Old City but this place is one that we will come back to for sure.

The service was horribly slow, she forgot about 1 of the 2 appetizers we ordered, only refilled water, but she was very nice and friendly.
The FOOD WAS AWESOME!!!! I can not say enough about the food. The flavor, portions, and appearance were on point.
The slow service is the reason why I didn't give it a 5 ⭐. If the food wasn't as good as it was and it was great I would have given it 1 or 2 ⭐.
I will/would eat again... maybe it was just slow service due to the server.
