Food was amazing! Cocktails were great too. We went during restaurant week. Our server was very nice and had a great flow. We weren’t without food or water for more than a few minutes. Wish I remember her name so I could mention her.
Mexican restaurant located in the Gayborhood of Center City. On 13th street surrounded by many restaurants, this place is a gem. Amazing Mexican dishes like mango guac, tacos burritos and amazing margs. Good service but can be busy at times so make sure to reserve a spot!

Not the same Lolita as I once fell in love with. Last year, I stumbled upon Lolita when I was in town for work. I was blown away by the all gluten free menu at night, the homemade tortilla chips with plantains, the flavorful salsas and the fish tacos. I was excited to have a chance to order takeout when I was in Philly this weekend and was left so disappointed. I ordered the chips + salsa, a few extra salsas (to stash and share at home) and an order of the mixed chips along with some tacos. I was given two containers of what look and taste like store bought chips and not all of the salsa I paid for. Not to mention the fish tacos were sloppily put together with ripped tortilla shells. I know takeout due to COVID isn’t everyone’s speciality but this was a huge let down after spending so much.

????????????????????Cozy. Really cozy. Decent selection of wine. Mixed drinks, wine and beer. Appetizer are to die for. The mix of corn chips and plantains (perfectly seasoned) are awesome. Entrees limited but amazing. Don't overlook this one. Tight quarters near the back....bu you'll be fine as a 4some, or a 2some and meet new friends. Romance from the two window seats or an

This review is about flavor. The food is awesome, but the flavor is what makes this place great. The price is right and way less than most 5 stars in this area. The enviroment here and service is like no other. I am from orlando florida and i know about service...this place is top notch. Mango wacamole and plantain chip/tortilla is something you need to try to start the night. If I could give it 6 stars i would. I had several dishes and all of them are well elaborated. Thanks to the servers always there providing the best service. It seems like before 7pm gets really busy, so call and reserve or be ready to wait 45 min average. Bar is not too big, but its available. Food is fresh and served really fast. Plenty of people working in the kitchen. Will def come back for more on my next trip. Nightly recommended.

Very nice ambience, friendly staff. On fridays and saturdays the place is really full and it was hard to get a reservation in opentable.
We ordered the mexican street corn as appetizer which was really good. The fish tacos in the entree was okay, nothing extraordinary. We tried the house special carne asada, the steak was really good but the gravy was too salty.
For dessert the coconut tres leche was really good. Also the cocktail drinks were tasty.

August 2019: what a wonderful place for some good food. Great ambiance, awesome service, incredible foods, decent selection. Try their smoky salsa with chips.

I'm in Philadelphia for a conference so my friends and I saw this place and had to try it. The atmosphere is so nice! It could be the perfect place for a date night or a just a girl's night out. You can choose to dine inside or out on the patio. We decided to order appetizers for our meal, along with drinks, we ordered the manjo guacamole and the short ribs nachos. The food was excellent! The drinks were good as well. If I lived in the area this place would most definitely be one of my favorite spots. I highly recommend this place to everyone if you're in the area.

We stopped in for lunch at Lolita's. The decor and energy of this place is super cute, cozy, friendly, & altogether amazing.
They worked with my dietary restrictions, the waitress was more than helpful and their food was absolutely delicious. The prices were great as well. I will definitely be visiting again!

Lolita is amazing and I was very pleasantly surprised. Every single dish I had was not only delicious but very well cooked and presented. I also sat near the open kitchen and the line was equally as impressive, focused, and prepared and executed orders one after another. The entire staff functioned as one solid team, food came out at a good pace, and the waiters were awesome! Very well run restaurant, 5 out of the 5 dishes I tasted were great, the Carne Asada lived up to the hype, and Lolita is now one of my favorite restaurants!
