Brunch was very tasty and the atmosphere is so picturesque and cozy. It was hard to choose from the menu - everything looked so good. Loved the biscuit with sausage gravy. What a lovely way to start a Sunday and a perfect new addition to the neighborhood
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful little restaurant! My boyfriend and I were drawn to the romantic ambiance at first, and were delighted that the food lived up to the atmosphere. We got the scallops, chilled asparagus soup, steak, ratatouille, and banana pudding. The chef really knows their way around vegetables— everything was fresh and flavorful. The steak was tender. Banana pudding was delightful. You’d be remiss if you didn’t try this neighborhood gem

This place is a great brunch spot. Our server was extremely attentive, and we had a pleasant conversation with him. I've been to both brunch and dinner and I think they do a superb job with brunch, but dinnertime isn't much to boast about. I think if it's labeled as comfort food, portions could be bigger for the price I'm paying.

The Chef knows what she’s doing. Seasoning and blending of flavors were perfect. Went for brunch. Wasn’t busy at all. Not a good sign. Service was perfect. Don’t let this place fail by lack of business.

Great neighborhood BYOB! Cute spot, perfect for date night. Food was yummy- especially the Brussels Sprouts. I went for dinner but would like to go back to try their brunch/lunch menu.

Came here with friends after a successful Wednesday Sips. Atmosphere is great, menu is well balanced. We had three appetizers and four different entrees, as well one of each dessert. My favorites were the Brussels sprouts, shrimp and grits, and the banana pudding. Portions are good sizes, every dish was cooked well. Will definitely be coming back to try the brunch!

Delicious food, friendly service. We also appreciated the information on a nearby festival going on! We can't wait to come back when we visit Philly.

Noticed a new BYO restaurant had popped up in the neighborhood and decided to give it a try. Went for brunch on a Sunday and had a lovely experience. We sat outside with our pup and enjoyed the French-pressed coffee and fresh OJ alongside excellent biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffles. The waitress was even kind enough to treat our pup to a free slice of bacon! In a city with few decent brunch options, this is a well-priced gem that I’ll be frequenting often.

My husband and I went to Mabu for brunch and it was delicious! We both got fresh squeezed orange juice; it is BYOB and I was kicking myself for not bringing some champagne to make mimosas! I ordered the churro waffle with Nutella sauce and it was amazing. It is on the smaller side which is perfect because I wasn’t hungry for a huge meal. My husband ordered the chicken and waffle Benedict and WOW it was incredible! The fried chicken was perfectly cooked, I’m ordering it next time! He also loved the fresh spring side salad.
We got to chatting with the owner, Grace. Her and her boyfriend (chef and co-owner) just opened and live in the neighborhood a few doors down. They plan to open more hours for dinner perhaps later this week.
We will definitely be back. This would be a great place to go with a group of friends for brunch and do BYOB mimosas!
