Wow. The food, dessert, and drinks are spectacular. We all love Mexican food, right? And We all have our go to places that always hit the spot. Well, add this place to this list because they will knock your expectations out of the park.. We had the salmon ceviche special and Birria taco special, both were phenomenal!! Can’t wait to return !

A great birthday dinner at this lovely neighborhood Mexican restaurant with many kinds of top shelf tequilas, as well great margaritas. The food is excellent, including several different kinds of tacos. ceviche, quesadillas, and fajitas. All were really well prepared in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The prices are reasonable, the service was excellent.

What a wonderful high end Mexican experience. The service and food are wonderful. We got the special grilled octopus and chips and salsa as a starter. They have creative spins on the margaritas.
The Mahi Mahi Tacos are fantastic and a very good size portion. You absolutely must get the churros. I will return to this philly gem.

I love a spicy margarita, and La Picante did not disappoint. Authentic Mexican food, that literally tasted authentic. Will definitely come back!

Went on Cinco De Mayo, they were slammed, but everything was still great regardless. Good drinks too. The staff was very accommodating for how busy they were that day.

I told him I would like so Latina cuisine.
I had been gone on a business trip for s few days and did not want to cook when I got home. WOW GREAT! Great drinks inventive food and very friendly staff.
One thing missing..flour tortilla! I have allergies to corn.????

Pt. 1:
Went for brunch and ordered the chilaquiles and baja tacos! Everything was so tasty and perfectly cooked - the shrimp had a perfect blend of heat and brightness with the pickled onion. the breading was so crispy I think these might be my favorite shrimp tacos ????
The chilaquiles tasted fresh with homemade chips and salsa, the egg was made exactly how I liked it and they had the perfect amount of cheese! You can tell ingredients are quality and that the chef takes pride in what they make. The Bloody Mary was also maybe the best I’ve had in the city, usually they’re made too watery but Nemi’s was juicy with plenty of flavor and heat! Ugh and the staff is so nice, great service and seating. I will be back for dinner which I hear is even better so pt. 2 of this review soon to come!!

Went here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Food and drinks were outstanding. They have a good selection of margaritas and beers on tap. Nice, clean indoor space also with outdoor seating. They have a happy hour most weekday afternoons as well. Churros were sexual and a must get.
