The atmosphere of this place is very lovely. Perfect for any kind of date, anniversary, dinner. I ordered the escargot which is in a cream sauce, and you eat with bread. Cheese plate, and the main course of fois gras on grilled bread with candied kumquats. Very rich, could barely finish, but absolutely decadent.
So I don’t know if the chefs got switched or whatever but the pictures were definitely not the same. For one, the escargot was black. Tasted straight like burnt brown gravy from the powdered shop rite pack. The croque madam was soaked in holandaise which is not traditional and was absolutely soggy stale and horrendous. Anything you got was with sliced bread equivalent to what you would want to build a house with. Literally bricks. I’m surprised I didn’t break a tooth. Again I definitely feel like they got a new chef because this is completely different looks recipes and plating styles too. When you bring the old chef back we’ll come. Until then maybe hire someone who has at least eaten French food before.

A little disappointed. I thought it was going to be “romantic” and it wasn’t it was very loud. People raved about the food in reviews but it wasn’t outstanding it was just good. Disappointed in the environment and the over all hype about the place. Will not be coming again. We wish we picked a better place for our anniversary dinner.

The service was really nice. The drinks were delicious! We had the duck, fish, and burger. All three were amazing! For dessert we had the cream Brule and chocolate moose both were very enjoyable. Overall a good dinning experience. Even though the portions are small you leave feeling very full. It was pricey and the menu is limited. There is no kids menu.

This place could have been a lot higher rating if things were done better.
First off, our waitress was very nice and the overall atmosphere was incredible. The drinks tasted amazing and some of the small plates for brunch like the bacon and the finger-link potatoes were delicious. The burger that someone got at our table was also incredible as well!
However, a few people in our group got the lobster eggs benedict. It was good, but for $27, it had barely any lobster, came with no sides of any kind, and was not worth the price. The baked eggs was also under seasoned and needed a lot more salt to taste how it should.
The biggest thing is that 4 out of the 5 of us got our main course and 1 of us had to wait almost 15 minutes to get theirs. We basically all finished our meals before she got hers.

Can't go wrong here even if you tried. The food is stellar - every dish is creatively designed and delivers with the freshest of ingredients. Bespoke cocktails with a carefully curated wine and beer list make it a great place even if you only want to hang at the bar and enjoy the ambiance.

Friendly service. Great cocktails. A must go when in Olde City.
Not great for large groups, but perfect for 1-4 folks. Highly recommend for dates.

This place has such a lovely vibe, super professional and friendly staff and great food. Be prepared for slightly higher price points, but it's worth it. Incredible raw bar. The ambience is great - cozy, warm lighting, dark wood. Everything was so delicious we accidentally ordered 3 desserts.

I had a great meal and time at Royal Boucherie! The food, staff, and atmosphere was wonderful. A reservation is a must because it's a small, intimate place.

This makes me want to lower the reviews I've given to every other place on this trip.
Honestly might be the best burger I've ever had. The bone marrow butter blew my mind and the amount of flavor they crammed into one burger was unreal.
The peanut butter cheesecake was also to die for. I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to cheesecake and this too rivals some of the better slices I've had.
The decor is also very high-end while still inviting a casual crowd. Low, dimmed lights, good music, and attentive wait staff made this a perfect meal for anyone.
