I was visiting Philly and was told by a friend this shopped served the best pizza in the city. I went in, got "The Not Pepperoni" and it was ridiculously good. Absolutely the best pizza I've had. The soppressata was incredible. I don't think I'll be able to go back to regular pepperoni again.

I'm very picky when it comes to pizza, and I can say The Angelo Pizza makes an amazing pie. There are pizza places that make a really good "standard" pizza and then there are those that add a more personal flair while still being great. Angelo falls into the latter category. The pizza is seasoned perfectly, and comes with interesting toppings like 'not pepperoni' (the Italian version of pepperoni). It does this while maintaining the best qualities of a standard pie, thin crust, great sauce, and an even layer of cheese. In my opinion the 12 inch pies are a little big for 1 person and A little small for 2 people but I ended finishing one myself. Would highly recommend trying this place out.

Amazing pizza! I just returned from a trip to Italy and I still consider this to be the best pizza I’ve ever had. Ingredients are fresh and the sauce and crust are perfect. Our favorite is “The Not Pepperoni Pizza” and “The Paulie Pizza”.

Among the best pizza spots in Philly. Really enjoyed the cheese pizza with accents of basil and the pepper on the side. If you're in Old City def hit this spot up.

Top 3 pizza I've ever had. Only 12 inch pies but perfect for two people. One fairly hungry guy can finish a pie. Thin crust awesomeness.

I’ve been hearing a lot about this place, both on Fox News and social media. I had to make the trip over from New Jersey to taste what all the craze is about. Wow, this pizza tasted amazing! Bursting with flavor and a wonderful crust! The sauce was so tasty! I shall return again, and again, and again!! If I could rate more stars I would ????????

Pizza is very good. Great size, great sauce. Only wish is that there a spicy soppressata pizza with like cherry peppers or long hots on it, maybe spice the sauce up. That is my ideal pizza and I think people would buy that baby up. You could call it The Prince after me :D

Tiny, but extremely friendly and tasty place. It's more intended for take-away, but few small companies may seat inside/outside. Hand made pizza is wow. And I have had the best espresso in the town there - something I would not expect.

The pizza was amazing. I ordered the "Big Ang" and its become my new favorite pizza. I go in about 3x a week and order this. My other favorite is "the Paulie" which is also incredible. Best pizza in Philly. Thanks Angelo.
