My favorite meal during my week in Philly was here. All the small dishes we shared were great with the Japanese sweet potato standing out most. Will certainly return!
Man this place is GREAT!!!! I hope the owner of this spot reads reviews because this place needs to know they are doing good things!!! I am from Phoenix and was visiting Philly for a family wedding. I had to plan a dinner for a group of 11 all with very different dietary habits and restrictions including a 9 year old and an 11 year old. Picked this place because it was close to our hotel and menu looked like it had good variety of foods and quality healthy options for a somewhat reasonable price for a big group especially considering I knew my Dad was going to insist on picking up the check (most generous dude I know). From start to finish everything was amazing and our waiter KAREEM was the man!!! If you guys are negotiating contracts for waiters soon this dude deserves the SUPER MAX contract!!! Really appreciated his service and drinks/food/desserts were so damn good!! If you pick this place you will not be disappointed. Trust me.

The place is really pretty, the environment is comfortable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We had the indoor seating by the front door, which is brighter but for me (28 weeks pregnant) it is a little too hot, especially they keep the front door open (81F that day). We had the brunch buffet, and the food is set up on their bar area. Next to the bar area has seating also, air is way better but the lighting is much dimmer.
Their food selection is good, but for me the taste is okay.
I went with my 2 girl friends, we tried on the exact same foods, but smoke salmon. Since I am pregnant, I am unsure to eat the salmon. But luckily I didn't try that, because both of my girl friends felt nausea and had diarrhea all night. We think it was the salmon since we ate the exact same foods all day.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to date. Must visit the speakeasy in the basement. There is a full bar and bowling alley down there and everything is low light and candles. I would recommend asking the host how to get down there as it’s slightly hidden and you have to go down some winding hallways to get there.

I take my friends and family here all of the time, so many different small dishes to choose from. The small plates are all meant to be shared amongst the table, and you really can’t go wrong. The building is so cool inside too. Harp & Crown is perfect for a night out in the city.

Food 9/10
Really solid and amazing happy hour deals. All the food was $7, even that pizza!! Their house cocktail that day had cucumber in it, and it was delightfully refreshing. Definitely come here for happy hour, it’s always a good time! We also couldn’t help ourselves from ordering drinks from their regular cocktail menu, and each had a delicious and unique taste.
Atmosphere 10/10
I loved the vibes and interior design. Outdoor seating was in a covered area, while the indoors was quite dark yet had both rustic and elegant elements.
Service 8/10
Friendly service that gave good recommendations.

To begin, our server Kareem was perfect! He was super friendly, gave great recommendations and was very attentive. The tasting menu is such a terrific deal and super fun, not to mention more than enough food. My partner and I particularly liked the tuna carpaccio, pirogies, broccolini pizza, and the kale salad. It’s also very cute inside. We will definitely be returning :)

Great new American bistro with lots of fun and delicious menu items! I really enjoyed the cocktails and the flatbread mushroom pizza was absolutely scrumptious. The vibe is dim lit and cozy but the atmosphere is lively and upbeat making for a unique dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!

My group and I had a great time. We arrived and, even though we had a reservation, had to wait about half an hour. The manager was very accommodating and apologized profusely. That is why I still give them 5 stars.
The food was excellent, as well as drinks and dessert. We went on a weekday, but would like to go back on a weekend and see the bowling alley!

Had reservations inside and was greeted and promptly seated. The bar was busy for a Tuesday night. They are not requiring vaccination cards. Regular menus were provided but I didn’t see any menus being sanitized (nor did I see anyone doing any regular sanitizing of doors, chairs etcetera).
When we were told the kitchen was closing in 10mins we placed our food order thinking the server would still course our food. Within 5mins all 6 dishes we ordered hit our table at once. The food was hot, seasoned well, and great textures/flavors, it just would’ve been nice to course it so we didn’t get slammed with it all at once, not to mention that we had literally no room on the table to comfortably dine.
