Absolutely reliably good steaks! And typically high prices. Service was superb. Steaks were prepared exactly as ordered, medium rare. Cocktails were a bit lackluster. Cocktail menu is fine, it seemed that they lacked a little zing. Dark, steakhouse decor. If you're on an expense account, why not?
This is what you would expect for me. Capital Grille. Wood panel walls, paintings, a faux old school ambience. The food was good but not great. The steak was way too salty, as well as the calamari. A salad with uninspiring. The dessert was pretty but okay. The best dish was probably the mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto and then pan fried. That was unique and very good. We ordered a mail back and were brought a decent bottle but surprisingly one that you would find in almost every grocery store. We were here with a big group for a business dinner so the wine selection was probably limited for us, but still a little surprise this place would use a mass market wine.
Overall, a fancy ambience with good food but not outstanding, and questionable if worth the price.

Thank you Capital Grille for a lovely and enjoyable dinner with exceptional service and food. Thank you for not judging our appearance after a long drive. We got to Philadelphia after a long drive with torrential rains. After checking in our hotel we asked for places to eat. So we went to Capital Grille. (we could walk and didn't want to drive again) I called outside the restaurant because reservations are suggested. I said we really are not dressed for this restaurant. WE had on T-shirts and pants very casual. We apologized but the staff treated us with respect and gave us the service everyone else received (most were were dressed formal) Our server was Rene also known as Octavio. He did an excellent job with serving. He knew the menu and again did not judge us on looks or that we did not drink alcohol. The food was suburb. A bit pricey but a lovely time. We also were greeted by Sophia who checked to see how our meal was and took some dishes. We had a pleasant conversation and later found out she was the director of operations (I think I have that right) The restaurant had adequate staff but Sophia was there helping too! I would give this restaurant 5 plus stars based on food, service and atmosphere.
We truly enjoyed . Thank you Capital Grille and a special thanks to Sophia and Renee.

This place consistently scores high with me for food quality and presentation. I wish the prices weren't so high for an average person but sometimes you gotta splurge. The steak is really what you're there for, but this time I added a lobster tail that was really just the icing on the cake. We had mentioned that we both had birthdays in the past or upcoming days and they gave us a nice free dessert dish too. It was a delight.

What a huge disappointment. We sat at the bar at 7:30 pm tonight. A guy sat next to me at the bar 5 minutes later. Charlie the bartender took all our drink orders right away, and then for some reason took the guy's food order next to me but ignored us for 30 minutes. RJ tried to get someone's attention and the woman behind the bar completely ignored us as well. I wanted to go somewhere else but after 35 minutes RJ finally got his attention. He apologized and said he thought we were just getting drinks. Really?? Because we asked for menus and were trying to get someone's attention for the last 1/2 hour. At this point it didn't matter how good the food was because this was horrible service, and you can't use Covid as an excuse when everyone around us was being served. We ordered double cut bacon for our app, and medium rare filet with mashed potatoes. It was all delicious but it just doesn't matter. If RJ ever asks if I want to come here again, nope. There's a lot of other places we can go.

Great Experience. William Packer was a delight. He was very attentive and professional. Came here during for work lunch with about five other people, we encountered no issues. William was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great recommendations.
The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Every dish I tried was phenomenal. I'd for sure return for great service and excellent quality of food.

I visited this place for my birthday. It was a surprise dinner. They messed up our reservation because of some glitch in their system, so the table which we got was not at all comfortable. But they compensated us with a free dish and that was nice of them.
This place has the best truffle fries I ever had. Their cocktails are really good. I tried the Classic Crème Brûlée it was simply amazing. Food was really good, the quantity is wholesome, it really good for one person to finish in one sitting.
Over all it was a good experience, it could have been better if we had a cozy and comfortable sitting.

Great atmosphere with food to match..I absolutely love the daily selections. I feel like I'm always getting something new and something I really enjoy when I come here. If this is your first visit, try the bacon and lobster mac and cheese with extra lobster!
