This neighborhood spot has been on my list to try. So my neighbor, friend, and frequent foodie accomplice Amy @thefabulousone [IG/Twitter] took a trip up Camelback to FINALLY try @flamingpigaz [IG]. Holy smokes...we wanted to try a little bit of everything. We got shrimp, pork, chicken, and beef skewers, plus some veggies for the tabletop grill. Then we had to get the House Special Pancit Bihon, Friend Shrimp Balls and the "Mini" Pata [pork shank]. We finished it off with a house made peach mango fried pie. It is now on our rotation of neighborhood favorites.
I've been wanting to try this place since they opened a year ago. The service was spectacular. We did the Korean BBQ with 4 different meats on skewers and veggies to grill. The shrimp balls and dipping sauce were delicious, too! Pancit Bihon (rice noodle dish) had a great mix of veggies and mear. Everything was fresh & light. Dessert was a homemade handpicked woth mango and pear. Can't wait to go back!

Staff was professional and friendly. Food was served hot and with great presentation. Proportions were adequate. Adobo (pork) was alittle on the sweet side, but still savory. Sinigang was the bomb.com and I was ecstatic that they had Bagoong ( I requested). Lumpia was hot and crispy. Though I didn't like the dipping sauce that came with it. I used their vinegar instead. Overall, great establishment, menu and staff.

This place is a must! The meals had an authentic Filipino taste. Specifically, sisig, pancit & lechon kawali were crispy and fantastic. We also had a to-go comprising bikochon & chicken bbq & lumpia. All were amazing and carefully packed.
Our waitress named Janeessa was extremely nice, alert & efficient.
All in all, I will share this restaurant with my friends and families. Highly recommend it for family and friend gatherings.
Keep it up, guys.

I feel like this place is made for grilling, but since I went solo, I just ordered from their lunch menu. Sisig is a popular Philippine viand paired with rice. Hot and sizzling, fatty pieces of pork with crunchy, sweet purple onions mixed in tangy lime juice and savory soy sauce dressing- it just hit the spot. I also ordered Filipino spaghetti as to go, and that was actually my favorite. Filipino spaghettis are sweet, cheesy, and topped with sweet hotdogs.

It was our 1st visit yesterday.
All dishes were excellent. The deep fried small red snapper (without the sweet and sour sauce) was perfectly crispy. The fish tasted sweet without the fishy smell/flavor. Below are the before and after pictures of the fish (please don't judge me ????). The fish was that good. The spicy Bikolchon (oven roasted pork belly) was another perfectly crispy and excellent dish. The spiciness was well balanced with a touch of fat from the pork belly. The 12 sticks (pork/chicken) BBQ Platter were scrumptious. We ate some pork/chicken at the restaurant and took home the rest. Later that night, we put a little bit of mayo on a baguette and ate with the pork skewer...OMG...so so good. We ordered the Ampalaya Con Carne/pork. A touch of bitter (from the bitter melon) accompanied splendidly with our other dishes.
We ended our dinner with the fabulous well-balanced Halo-halo dessert. If you haven't have Halo-halo dessert yet, please, don't let the listed ingredients baffle you, like it did me. Flaming Pig knows what they are doing down to their dessert. Halo-halo tastes perfectly splendid after you mix everything together in your cup.
Even before we left, we were discussing what we are getting on our return trip.

This restaurant is AMAZING! It’s served authentic filipino dishes and so delicious, we ordered Bulalo Soup, Mini Crispy Pata, Lechon Kawali, Pancit Bihon, Pork BBQ, House Fried Rice and all dishes satisfied my husband’s discerning taste buds, we tried almost all Filipino Restaurants in Phoenix and sorrounding cities and Flaming Pig is by far the BEST, restaurant staff are friendly, very clean and decent place…the serving size is a lot, wasn’t able to finish it all so we took some home, we also ordered more dishes to take home for my cousin who wanted to try it, happy to report when their food were dropped off, they are happy and satisfied as well, despite the commute their Crispy Pata managed to stay crunchy and fresh…..I don’t give reviews easily but this one I highly recommend.

Great spot! Friendly service. I got the lunch special with lumpia, pork, and pancit and thought the quality, price, and portion size were excellent.

My family and I love this place for authentic Filipino food. Everything was fantastic. The spaghetti is always a big hit with my kids. The lechon kawali and the ampalaya con carne are spot on and you can’t go wrong with the bbq on a stick. They provide great service with COVID precautions to top it all off! I felt very safe eating there with my family.
