I love this place really good tasting food one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Phoenix. because of the fact that you can park big trucks next to restaurant. Excellent menu big portions of food great prices and friendly staff.
Good food Bad service unfortunately this will be the last time I come to California XL Burger every time I come here I get bad customer service they obviously don't want people coming back the way they treat the customers here.

The Food is good here, how ever the customer service is the worst. I went there 3 different times and all 3 times was treated badly. The girls in the front are very very rude. I will no long go there. Burger shoppe up on Thomas is much better experience and similar food.

Damn good burger. I got a double bacon cheese and a medium order of fries. I drove to my office, opened the bag and was shocked at the fries. The burger was cooled well and had a lot of flavor. The veggies were crisp and fresh. The woman who took my order was very patient and friendly. I will be back.

Excellent variety of flavors available and great food quality! I stood for almost 15 minutes trying to decide on just 1 thing to try my first time here. I went with the King Kong Burger combo because of the name alone and was pleased to find out that it has pastrami and ham on the burger! Generous amounts of expected veggies and sauce to make sure you get everything that's on the burger in every bite. The only complaint I have is very minor as the size of the patty (thickness) wasn't what I expected but the taste was more than sufficient to overcome that. I'd happily trot over there again for another menu item.

Customer service is really bad, first cashier took my order and we had a Misunderstanding with my order. So I try to correct the order and she gave me a look and then she use Foul language.
So the Second cashier took the Correct order and Blame me for not correcting the order when they gave me the price before I pay.
I told her that I have a hearing aid a problem and we had a misunderstanding and There’s no need for attitude.
I did pay for my order but While I was sitting down I saw them looking at me in a funny.
I have stop by few time and notice the Attitude before.
So I just left the food and left
I didn’t feel comfortable eating maybe they put something in my food. That’s why they look at me funny.
So if you have any hearing problem Or any disability this is not your your stop.

Took a chance on this spot for lunch today. Drive thru order- Best Buy lunch combo(cheeseburger) pretty delicious! The patty is thin & it was loaded with veggies. The portion of fries was massive & was unable to finish. Everything tasted fresh. The lady at the window was very polite! Overall good experience and will return in the future.

We haven't been here in almost 2 years since we live all the way in AJ. the restaurant itself needs a lot of renovations and help. they are understaffed which means that the restaurant is not as clean as it should be but the burgers and the specials that they have are cheap and delicious... if you are from California and is looking for a delicious Burger this is the closest you'll ever get to without let's six-hour drive XL California Burgers is a mixture between Jim's Burgers and Tom's Burgers in Los Angeles. I just highly recommend doing drive-thru cuz if you dine in you will be disappointed
