O'Brien's could be good if they were not cheap, not the prices, those are too high for what you get. I ordered a corned beef burrito. So the star of the burrito should be corned beef. There was so little corned beef that I couldn't taste it. Same with the eggs and cheese. There were tons of potatoes! And before you think I am just a carnivore that wanted more meat, my ratio was maybe 1.5 eggs, and a sprinkle of cheese and a tablespoon of corned beef to over 60% potatoes! I would have been fine if it was called a potato burrito but it was not.

Wow! O'Brien's is simply AMAZING!!
I've been coming to O'Brien's since they were a tiny shop in Del Mar. The reason they've grown through the years is simple - amazing food and even more amazing customer service.
The staff is always kind, thoughtful and efficient.
The food... well let's just call it the best you'll find! Whether it's a sandwich or a pastry, you can 100% count on everything being incredibly tasty and mouth-watering!
Thank you Edgar for your work through the years in bringing happiness to my mouth!

I love their bread ????. And the BLT is delicious ???? not to mention all the great pasties. I would like to recommend the Caesar salad ???? I uselly pick out the croutons but the ones at O'Brian really make the salad.

Oh god I had the best sandwich I have ever perched in my 28 years of life at this place. And maaan that carrot cake was sooo moist and flavorful!

Wasn't sure if this was a commercial bakery or if they had table service... It's Both!! My daughter and I stopped in here for lunch and everything was great! She had a breakfast burrito and I had a classic Italian sandwich. The food was great and the service was very friendly. They have a few outdoor tables to enjoy the beautiful weather while you eat.

Outstanding in every way. The BEST avocado toast in San Diego. Excellent sandwiches too. The croissants rival those at a patisserie in France. This place is the best!

Super cute!!!! What a surprise up on Stowe drive!!! Breakfast, sandwiches, pastries ????!!! And more!! Loved the vibe. Has outdoor seating and it is a good place to meet a friend chat and eat something totally delicious!!! Try it out!!

Been to O’Brien twice within 2 weeks. Loved it!
The store is clean. Employees at the counter are super patient and friendly. Food is yummy!!!
We really like everything we ordered: cheeses danish, flourless chocolate cake, the OB Prime Rib Philly Cheese Steak, breakfast burrito and the breads! Very fresh and good quality!
It is a 20 minutes drive to the place but we liked it so much and will return with friends and family.

I checked out O’Brien’s after spotting their cheesecake on a local restaurant’s menu. I’m glad I followed through with my curiosity as O’Brien’s only serves top quality pastries, food and thankfully coffee to match!
My mom, brother and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and coffees out front on a quiet Monday. I can picture the weekends being packed as the quality of the food and coffee and, importantly, the genuine friendliness of the staff made the entire “foodie lover” experience SO worthwhile.
If you need treats for a party, gathering or just for home you can count on O’Brien’s Boulangerie.

I’m a bread fiend. Everywhere in the world I’ve visited, I’ve crushed some amount of local bread. It’s tradition for me. Spent three weeks in Paris for work and I thought I was turning into a baguette toward the end of my stay. I discovered O’Brien’s Boulangerie from their truck parked in my gym parking lot each morning. After over a year of wanting to, I finally went to try it out. It was the best baguette I have ever had; even better than the 27 baguettes I had in Paris. I went again the next day and ended up spending $77 on muffins, more baguettes and this beautiful fruit strudel (pic attached) for a small get together. Needless to say, O’Brien’s now has five more households as customers. My French Canadian neighbor stated, “This is the best baguette I’ve ever had in my life.” My friend from down south stated, “This strudel is better than Hans and Harry’s.” Yep, shots fired, but I back those statements 110%. Just go and try for yourself. I promise you, you will be overwhelmed by their kindness and display of amazing baked goods. In fact, the strudel was so good, it actually made me upset that something was so damn delectable. They also have an assortment of breakfast items to eat there, so I will definitely be back to try those out as well. Just go and enjoy. Trust.
