Quick efficient service and we got our chairs quickly, the streaks could have more flavors and the rice and beans were kind of bland. The salad was good so were the plantains. The prices are reasonable though, enjoy ????
Delicious food, friendly service, fair prices. We’ll be back.

Food is decent. Place is looking kinda sad now. Used to have more people going but i guess nobody likes being charged a lot extra for using a credit card and to take home left overs. The decor is lacking. And the live music gets a bit annoying. Feels weird eating here now.

The food was not hot, the menu for kids was not good enough. I asked for ketchup and they didn’t have it. Like, what kinda restaurant does not have ketchup. Makes no sense. The drinks were tasteless. The ice had already melted down by the time they handed them to us. Not a good experience at all

Good food, great service. Very large portions. Everything tastes very good and well seasoned. Nothing is too salty or oily. Definitely a great place to get food. The coffee is also not bad. Definitely recommend and will return to try more of the menu.

A once cozy and charming family restaurant with a wait staff who would greet you at the door and seat you within seconds, since they have memorized the occupancy and what table was available for the next party.
This Colombian restaurant in the heart of Jackson Heights was my family’s favorite. We would travel from the deep end of Brooklyn to enjoy a meal at Pequeña Colombia back in 2001.
Today, the charming greeting was nonexistent, the establishment seemed dark and gloomy and didn’t have that welcoming feeling as in the past. The Colombian music and joyful smiles seem to have vanished. The often times live bands and their zoetic presence was all gone. The background music was a playlist of salsa and random Latin music that didn’t enhance the dining experience.
At the table the wait staff never brought us water. We ordered one drink each which was switched up. I ordered a mango margarita which quite frankly tasted nothing more than food coloring mixed with a water down version of a margarita.
The actual meal. The Churrasco which is usually a decent sized piece- wasn’t; served with habichuelas y arroz con papa fritas. The French fries were refried giving them a extremely crunchy texture. The meat was not tasty and a bit dry for my taste. My good friend who had dinner with me stated his dish also wasn’t as good particularly the meat since it tasted a bit burnt. It appears the grill utilized for cooking wasn’t cleaned properly since the meat did have a burnt taste and smell to it.
The decor lacks culture and creativity. The bathroom is a health hazard, should be frequently cleaned. Lastly, a once joyful and cozy establishment has lost its grip on what once was a family style restaurant with the traditions and styles of Colombia.

Place is okay.
There is only two vegetarian options and their salads are sad, I doubt Colombian people only eat broccoli and carrots.
If I wanted white rice I would of went to the chinese food for 3$ instead of 16$
I dont recommend the fries, get better ones at McDonalds.
My gf ordered the chicken and margarita and she liked it so at least your date will be satisfied lol
I hope to find vegan options and nonalcoholic beers
next time.
Only thing I would come back for are the maduros☺️
