The food there was delicious its located on the boardwalk on 98st and I had ordered the Toro Dish and it was awesome more then generous the food portion to leave you content and the steak pieces seasoned nicely and just cooked right, which comes with a arrepa , arrugla and a white crumble cheese with a hot sauce on the side awesome taste. It's the Colombian taco version for them . ???? Plus I ordered a set of fried yuca ( cassava) with hot creamy sauce on the side it was delicious as well. Definitely worth trying the dish . Yummy indeed . People saw my dish and were interested because how good it look and when I told them it tasted awesome they went to try and agree. This also comes in shirmp ,chicken instead of the beef .

The food was just okay...not worth what I paid for it & left my husband & I feeling underwhelmed. The service was very confusing. One minute distracted by their phone & on YouTube with a headphone in, while I’m waiting to order, then they got impatient with me when I asked 2 questions about the menu, then became overly nice (i think she finallly realized she was being rude). And the big tub of agua de panela is just sitting on the counter completely uncovered and they ladle it out. It could at least be covered. I immediately wished I had gone to a different stand.

The company I work for recently acquired this gem of a restaurant as a vendor. I thought it was my personal bias as a Latin American. The food is amazing! From coworkers at the tasting to client sites. Everyone loves this food! As a vegetarian I’m so happy to taste home without wasting the knowledge and beliefs I have that led me to be vegetarian. So I can say this restaurant has made quite an impression on me. Love it!

This isn’t Colombian food, and if they are trying what a shame. I ordered sweet plantains with cheese and bocadillo and the cheese didn’t tasted as cheese.
Don’t pay to eat here, save your money. Better to eat at La cevicheria.

I just purchased 2 empanadas at their pop-up shop in Manhattan. Being that there is ZERO colombian food places in Manhattan, I was really delighted to get some empanadas, even if they were $4 dollars each (factor in that each empanada had to pay the Metrocard one way fare to ride the subway from bklyn to Manhattan). The beef empanada as I broke it open looked like I opened the inside of an alien... it looked like mushrooms instead of beef. The chicken empanada was bland and both empanadas had NO potato which is a staple of real colombian empanadas. The only thing I got that was authentic colombian cuisine was the apple soda. I will say I liked the outside flour mixture used to wrap the protein. Other than that, it was an utter disappointment. Their brand should say they are a twist on a colombian favorite and not real home colombian cooking eatery. Because anyone anticipating real colombian food is going to be vastly disappointed. TGIF!
