The iced dirty chai was good, though it really didn't taste or kick like it has two shots in it. While it did taste good, the $8+ for the drink was a bit steep. The cookie was decent though not as soft as I would have hoped. Neither the birdie(what I had) or the Bella(my wife had) would be items I would order again. Mine was fine, but nothing spectacular. Our Bella was served with turkey instead of the bacon described in the menu. That substitution may have been ok if they had said something, but came as a surprise.
Based on reviews and what we heard in line, the cinnamon rolls are the thing to get here, but they were all sold out.
Two drinks, two sandwiches and a cookie for $30. The value just wasn't there for me.
Love the muffins. My wife went there every day for a week to get them for the nursing staff at the hospital while they were caring for my mother in law.

My friend and I finally came here after his persistence of a place with the best cinnamon rolls anywhere, ever. He is 100% right. The cinnamon rolls, and the brown butter banana nut muffins, are worth the trip no matter where you live in the area or if you’re just visiting. Their iced chai latte with oat milk is also good to go. The only thing I wish is that I came here sooner!

This place has potential, but need works and people committed to quality. When you are a coffee shop and cannot make a good coffees, there is a problem. Both latte and capuchino coffees were mainly milk and tasteless. Not sure I will come back here.

OMG, the breakfast cinnamon muffin is wonderful! With coffee, you'll be more than satisfied. Staff is wonderful! Whatever you get it's worth the wait.

Placed an online order at like midnight for a 9:15 am pick up because that’s what adults do and got a text alert at 8 am that my order was ready! I got some cinnamon buns which were to die for. They are huge, very affordably priced in my opinion and absolutely delicious. I also got a sticky bun which we haven’t tried yet so can’t comment on except that it looks and smells divine and a raspberry lemon muffin which was also very good but a little light on raspberries in the center. I would 100% recommend you try this place. It’s adorable and I cannot wait to go back! It was like walking into the bakery in a cozy mystery novel. So much charm.

Cute bakery/cafe! I saw their cinnamon buns on instagram and figured I should go try them! I ordered a sticky bun and a vanilla latte. Very tasty! They also offer a bunch of freshly made sandwiches, I think I'll try one next time.

I’ve been looking everywhere for a really great tasting sticky bun and tried several places around San Diego but every other one was over cooked and not “sticky.” Bear Buns Bakery did not disappoint—their sticky bun was fresh, definitely sticky and delicious!!! Cute little spot and worth the drive!

Was ok. Got Bella sandwich ...was given to somebody after me had to wait even longer for food. Got 2 cinnamon rolls that were ok. They are usually a bit fresh and hot but not today. Wasn't a fan of the Bella Breakfast sandwich bread, flavor was ok. Eggs were a weird texture. Bacon was flimsy and tasteless.

Unbearably adorable coffee shop.
Pros: free wifi, community oriented, & study friendly environment.
Cons: limited parking, pricey pastries, and too much ice in cold drinks.
RECOMMEND: hot coffee.
Three stars because we've only tried a few things. Hope to go back and update my review!
