Fried goat cheese squash blossom popover 5/5 - the flavor combination was incredible, Extremely well balanced dish. Fresh and satisfying. Popover could be a little lighter and fluffier, but it didnt matter because everything else in the dish was AMAZING!!!!!

This place won a best brunch award last year and I have to say it mostly lives up to the hype. We were a family of four adults, one kid and one infant. Pb pancakes were tasty but had too much peanut butter relative to the pancakes. Potato latkes and cauliflower hummus were a bit bland. Zucchini omelette was good. Avocado toast was very tasty but heavy on the basil. Greek yogurt was plain and not really worth it for kids but strawberries were pretty sweet.

What was really good was the service. When we ordered juices for the family, the waitress Jamie automatically downgraded our daughter's cup to kid size. When our infant needed a non ceramic plate, she turned a takeout box into a makeshift one. The food came out decently quickly, with plenty of snacking veggies on the side for infants (cucumber and carrots).

We were seated outside, and despite being ten feet from the street at Tuesday lunchtime, it was quiet enough that we could easily have conversations.

Overall, pretty great place. I wouldn't trek out of the way for the food but it's a fantastic place for young families.

This place was pretty good. The maple bacon donuts are what they are known for and they are delicious ! The bloody Mary’s were pretty good as well. We had the chilaquiles which were also very tasty along with the quiche which was ok. The flavor was pretty good, but it was not warmed as I had thought it would be. Would definitely recommend this place, but maybe not the quiche.

Excellent service, Camille was super friendly and never seemed to pop over when our mouths were full. ????

The food was excellent, the portions are a bit insane, definitely begs to be shared.

Would recommend the French toast logs for sure.

Fun, delicious "blunch" place for a long, easy weekend with friends or family. Parking around this spot in Hillcrest is tight even around 9am so make time to get there early to find a spot. Portions are huge, the Hillcrest toast and fruity mimosas were a favorite!

This is THE brunch spot in San Diego.
Make reservations if you can, with multiple locations you are sure to get in somewhere.
Every single dish is flavorful and thoughtful. Drinks are perfection and help to set the "brunch-y" mood.
You will see groups of family's, tables of friends, and cute pairings of couples around the restaurant. Everyone is welcome here!

Pro tip: go early (before 9) to grab a table without reservations!

This was our first time ever eating there. Our son wanted to go there for his birthday ???? brunch. This place did NOT disappoint ???? I had their brunch special and so did my husband - all I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW!!! The food was outstanding and the portions were enormous! There was so much flavor in everything we ate and the service was fast, friendly, and accurate!! Truly was a different menu dining experience that one must try. I recommend making reservations - which I'm so glad our son did ahead of time ???? Also there is outdoor dining and pet friendly! Next time I'm taking my dog Riley ???? It was a bit pricey, but it was a special occasion. And you gotta live just a little ????????????

The maple bacon donuts are good and what everybody talks about, but the French Toast Logs are the real winners here! The House Bloody Mary is a good starter to pair with the donuts. We also tried the pigs in a blanket which are a few pancakes wrapped around several sausages, it was okay, but more of a novelty. When we come back to San Diego, we will try other items.

Delicious farm to table food! Super friendly service and ambiance in the heart of Hillcrest. The menu may seem small but it’s all quality! The goat cheese and lavender honey appetizer is amazing! Save room for dessert!

The cost is higher than average but the quality is there! I ordered the GM sandwich and it was great, the fennel sausage was a delight! The iced tea was refreshing and came in a cute glass pitcher. My brother ordered the French toast and the bread was brioche which was topped with bacon. I went on a Saturday and enjoyed brunch. The restaurant was full, but the wait was only about 30 minutes without a reservation. I will definitely return and reccomend to give this place a try.
