Overall Rating

the space was gorgeous
staffs were friendly
however, wasn’t satisfied with their pastries
especially the pastries based on croissant dough
a bit too dry and has no presence
would likely to suggest other bakeries nearby

We tried this place out for a quick brunch and will definitely be back— quick service despite a steady flow of customers; super-fast food-running; excellent coffee; perfect little omelette.

There’s a large outdoor space in the front that’s reminiscent of a Parisian cafe, as well as a half-dozen or so tables indoors.

Croissant sandwich with pesto was dreamy! The monkey bread pastry was delicious, and more along the lines of a pull-apart croissant. Not too sweet. The scallion omelette was delicious, if but a tad under salted. The slices of bread that accompanied the omelette were exceptional, and I’d return to this spot just for the bread.

One of the best dining experiences in Pacific Beach. My friends and I brought our own bottle of wine and shared fabulous entres. The food tasted very fresh and had a farm to table twist. Great place for an intimate date night or to gather with friends.

This is becoming my favorite spot in PB. Best tasting breakfast and lunch around, fast easy ordering system, outdoor seating, good value. What more could you ask for. Recommend the pesto croissant sandwich.

Ordered the Brandy Duck, Single N’ Sweet Flat White, a double espresso, and a Pastrami Tuna Baguette, everything was delicious except some items we wanted to try weren’t available at the moment. Almost forgot, went there because I’ve the croissants where the best, tried one and yes! The best I’ve tried so far in SD.

The best Dirty chai latte! The atmosphere is great. Staff is very friendly. Does get crowded especially on the weekends so get there early.

If you're looking for an epic breakfast and with a very reasonable price, go here! Their bread is freshly baked there and everything is SO flavorful. Their Duck omelet with truffles is my absolute favorite (shown in the pic). Friendly staff and great service.

Gorgeous space, delicious cortados, and fabulous baked goods.

Already gone back for seconds with with plans for more. A fantastic little cafe in PB. The industrial style ceilings are covered in faux ivy and vines giving the darker space an earthy glow.

Stopped in to pass a couple of hours working and was delighted to see a friend walk into the same space. Hope you like pastries because this place absolutely delivers. I melted for their Apple Butter Kouign Amann.

Pro tip, go early; they sell out quickly. ????

Update: I was talking desserts with my sister and she sent me back for a nice set of pastries for her family. So good!

This coffee shop has a great upscale feel but also a chill vibe. The outside space is just as gorgeous as the inside. There is some seating inside with a large window that opens up to the outside. You can also get a peak into the kitchen and inner workings of Homage Bakery. They sell their own prepared foods & spreads for sale, like honey, almond butter, olive oil, granola, etc. Gender neutral restroom also!

The barista was friendly and thoughtful. And the service was quick and coffee is very good. Plenty of outdoor seating if you want to take in the ocean breeze and sun or enjoy a baked goodie. Although I don't live close by, I'd definitely make my way back here.
