First time here. We ordered the beef brisket and were surprised that it can dry. No sauce at all. There were 4 bottles of sauce on the table that you could add, but I was expecting moister meat. The fatty sections were moist, but the rest was quite dry on their own.
The sides were very tasty and generous portions. Excellent service, too.
We had friends in town who were staying in Scottsdale, and we live in Gilbert! We're adventurous when it comes to new places and this was close to the resort our friends were at, so off we went to Starlite BBQ! We're so glad we came here! The food was amazing, the service (Riley was our server and Casey was the bartender) was amazing and their HH specials didn't disappoint. Our group of 4 had dishes including Brisket & Jalapeno Cheese Grits, Braised Greens, Brisket, Sweet Potato, Chicken Wings...all of it was fantastic! The drinks were on point, the cornbread is yummy, the Peach Crisp hit the spot. The inside is kinda small, but the patio is nice to have some drinks on if you're waiting for a table inside if it's too warm to sit outside. We live in Gilbert, and we'd drive to Starlite again for sure!

The HH pickle chips were my favorite part of the meal. Had the fried catfish. It was spicy not my favorite. Mac and cheese looked pretty but not a fan. The cornbread has too much butter as when you take a bite all you tasted was butter. I would not. The staff was nice and polite.

Had a really nice experience eating at Starlite BBQ. The place has a huge patio with lots of seating for large groups.
The complimentary cornbread was awesome. The portions were also huge. Fried pickles were stacked high and the Mac N Cheese side was enough to be its own meal! My only negative about this place was the flavor of the pulled pork. It was cooked well but didn’t have a ton of flavor. Thankfully they have four really good sauces which more than made up for it.
If you’re looking for a cool little barbecue place then you’ve found it. I’ll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the large menu.

This place has some pretty good BBQ. We got the brisket and it was good, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. They also finished it on the grill, which was a new take. We started with the fried pickles and it’s a huge offering, more than two people can eat, probably enough for 3-4. They have some excellent strawberry lemonade and the SIDES. I got the rainbow carrots and they were cooked similar to roasted potato and genuinely the best carrots I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes are also incredible. The cornbread is just okay, I’d probably pass if I went again. Overall, I’d go back and probably try some of their other BBQ dishes.

I was really excited to try this place but was disappointed. I did hear good things about it but maybe they had an off night. For the appetizer we got corn bread and wings. Wings were delicious, the corn bread was ok. The ribs were disappointing, as I was expecting them to be "fall off the bone" tender and they were the opposite of that. Collard greens were very bland and after tasting them, I did not touch them again. The fries were great - salty and crunchy. Our server was just ok - didn't seem like he wanted to be there really, and we hardly got checked on or had plates/glasses cleared.

Great spot! Loved every dish that came out of the kitchen. Mac and cheese was ridiculously good. Complimentary corn bread was skillet cooked to perfection. Had a blast hanging out here!

Very tiny but relaxing place. Baby back ribs are literally fall off the bone, and so tender. Nice drunk selection. Im sure Friday and Saturdays it is packed. But highly recommend this place.

Small but stellar. The small part: Looked to be about 50 seats inside and three overly large communal picnic tables. The stellar part. Whiskey and BBQ. All were top notch. Brisket. Mac n Chz. Cornbread. Fries green tomatoes. All spot on. They also have four house made BBQ sauces, house, spicy, honey mustard and a senoran mole sauce. Some of the best. If in Scottsdale and craving BBQ this is the place to go. Their cocktails were great too!
