I live super close to Adair Kitchen. I always want to love it yet always find it to be just mediocre. We stopped for lunch a few days ago. I enjoy the way the menu reads with its diverse offerings. We tried the fish tacos. They were just ok, lacking in flavor if being completely honest. The service is, as always, friendly and fast. Enjoyable atmosphere and vibe.
Love this place, and the food is amazing ❤️ also this place has a nice vibe & atmosphere. I've been there 4 times already, and I'm definitely going again:)

Meh. I don't see the alure, but one of my friends raves about it, so I decided to give it another try. Afterall, it had been at least 4 years since my last visit.
The restaurant is one large room with a high ceiling and a large fan. They have a covered patio outside, inside regular seating (a few booths along the wall, but mostly table and chairs) and bar area seating (about 3 stools available). The bar area is also the walk-up ordering section, so it can get a little crowded.
The service was fair and the food arrived fast for the crowd they had this particular day.
I was not satisfied with my meal. I purposely ordered something "easy" so I wouldn't be disappointed (that didn't work well) and I was also very hungry; nothing worse than not enjoying your meal when you are seriously hungry. I figured a burger and fries would be satisfactory - not so much. The parmesan and rosemary fries arrived cold, the burger was charred on the edges, the lettuce was so large I had to tear it in half and I had to ask again for mayonnaise even though I specifically requested it when initially placing my order. I waited at the table for about 3 minutes then finally had to get up and ask another person since my server didn't return. That kind of nonsense really makes me upset. That's one of the reasons I don't like the multiple people service restaurants do these days. They are too busy and you lose consistency with runners taking the food to your table. I heard another table return their waffles because they arrived cold, so I know it wasn't just me.
They do not have sweet tea, but they do have lemonade available. I mixed my tea with lemonade to made it sweeter.
I will say the prices are pretty good. My meal was under $20.00 even after tipping 20% (yes, even with all of that, I still tipped 20%).
There is literally nothing special about this place, in my opinion. I absolutely HATE giving lower than 4 starts. I take reviewing seriously and love to see good places thrive. I also don't like being disappointed in my meals, so there's that. If under 4 stars, then I must have truly not enjoyed it. It takes very little to make me happy with my experience, so that should tell a lot.

The food is good, price is ok and the menu has very interesting combinations. I ate the turkey burger, and it was good. The sweety potatoes were a little greasy to my taste but some people like that. My friends ordered the salad, and they told me it was good as well.

This place definitely gave a wonderful coffee shop vibe but the food is on an amazing level.
The waffles had apple wood bacon inside, as they were soft and fluffy as well thick. A few bites and their gone as well the fresh strawberries and dusted in powder sugar.
The French toast was out this word. Fresh fruits and I didn't even need the syrup as this practically Dissolve in your mouth.
Loved this place so much

I visited for dinner and was very impressed. The dining room has a bright and airy atmosphere that manages to feel simultaneously cosmopolitan and rustic. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food and wine were both fantastic. I had the pesto salmon. 10/10 would recommend the restaurant and the dish. I liked them both so much I returned the next evening, changing only my wine selection. I was not disappointed either visit. The prices were very reasonable and the wine selection was diverse. Definitely seek out this gem if you are in the area.

Bad service. I suggested to my friend that we visit for lunch as I had been before. Net is that my drink was not delivered for 26 minutes and only after I asked for it three times. By the time I got it, we were done eating lunch. It was about 1:30pm, and the restaurant was possibly 1/3 full. There was zero sense of urgency. When I left my table and went to the bar, the employee said he would make my drink and then proceeded to rifle through things in the kitchen and then talk to other employees.
This place has, unfortunately, gone downhill from previous experiences, and I was embarrassed to bring my friend here. They did not respond when I filled out their survey about my visit. There are many good places in Houston to visit, and I would not count Adair on my list any longer.

Cozy little restaurant that serves a great variety of lunch and breakfast treats. We enjoyed our time there but felt that the portions were a bit small. We had the avocado toast and the single French toast. We also enjoyed their coffee which on the other hand is very fulfilling. The social scene is very local and a great place for working, socializing or reuniting with family and friends.

I stumbled upon this delightful treat one night while visiting Houston as I was looking for something different to eat and it was fantastic! This low key spot has a large indoor space that has a relaxed feel and great outdoor space for dining outside. I had the salmon and it was absolutely delicious. I will most definitely be back on my next visit to Houston.

Ran in for a quick lunch while running errands. Good, quick service, tasty, price point was okay for what I got.
The honey mustard and avocado chicken sandwich with fries. I added bacon and cheddar cheese which made a world of difference but was an extra $2.00….
Bread was great nice and fluffy, kind of like that sweet kolache bread at some places. Was definitely plenty of food.
Had a cappuccino to go with it and total with $3.00 tip was about $23 bucks. More than I would normally spend on a quick lunch on the go. But it was in the Galleria area and I enjoyed it so all was good.
